MotoGP » Rossi, Hayden join fans at Ducati send-off party

Rossi is by no means finished but he made a bad choice going to Ducrappy. If he can avoid injury and get BACK ON PROPER KIT HE MAY HAVE 2 YEARS LEFT IN HIM. Melandri went through the same dismal showing but showed on the Hayate that he still had it. Jorge had his number last year but he should have stayed on a yamaha. Even if it meant being number 2 or losing to JLo again.

MotoGP » Ducati: Our focus and commitment will be rewarded

"7WC is that more than 1" Different circumstances, different equipment, catered tires and special treatment, withholding from teammates, blah, blah, blah..... Apples and oranges my friend. But one thing that isn't... 1WC on a ducati something that stuff from the past can't give him without big time help from Dorna and Bridgestone being forced to make tires specifically for the Ducrappy that won't work on the other bikes in much the same way the hondas all had chatter in 2004 while the yamaha didn't. FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

MotoGP » Rossi: We are quite worried

Furusawa is the genius. Rossi is intelligent but he is no engineer. CRASH why did you delete my post? All it said was Biaggi finished the season 2nd place on the old version M1 that was 900cc with carburetors. It is a known fact. Does that hurt the development image of the yellow hero that turned the bike into a winner with his magic?

MotoGP » Rossi: We are quite worried

the point is rossi never has developed anything. a rider can ask for changes to a bike. But those changes are made by the engineers and verified by test riders way before someone like Rossi gets to play with them. You don't really think they are manufacturing stuff out the back of the yamaha team garage and putting it straight onto Rossi's bike do you? The changes to Rossi's first M1 were re3quested by John Kocinski and Max Biaggi but they chose to be arrogant and not do anything about it.

Back to this great developer crap again. The parts are developed by engineers and proven by test riders and then given to the teams to test at the track.Rossi, Stoner Pedrosa etc are not test riders. The parts are already proven before they get them. If he is so great why is the new GP11 worse than the GP10 that Hayden was competitive on last year and now mysteriously he has gone backward. Cut out this great developer myth please! This story is the proof that it is just a lie. Read the Furusawa story(its a good read, maybe the best CRASH has ever done IMO) and come back to me.

MotoGP » Honda comments on DCT gearbox rumours

So as I said earlier you guys think the racing is boring and it needs to be dialed back to 2 strokes with no electronics and you will see who the best rider is. You think Rossi will return to the throne somehow if that were to happen. I think we can see clearly who the best riders are based on their performances on equal equipment. Nobody was complaining when Rossi was on a 990 4 stroke against 18(Maybe more, only yamaha factory team, suzuki and repsol honda had 4 strokes to start the year in 2002 and only 2 more 4 strokes were added laterBarros and Kato) 2 stroke bikes without a chance.Duh! you forgot the important thing. Its not and never was about the riders. Its about the manufacturers and technology. That would be like f1 being limited to soapbox derby downhill cars. Only the best riders win races in MotoGP but it also depends on the kit they are given. The only true test of abilities is in Moto2 but even that is not a given that you will succeed in motogp.Rossi USED TO BE the kin

You guys think no electronics will make rossi the king again? wake up! Rossi's rc211v was the first bike in the championship with tc. But one thing is for sure. the guys who are best always seem to win. You don't think Rossi is riding around all these years without tc or electronics for the engine do you?why do you want a prototype class to be a bunch of lawn tractors racing? BTW all this technology does trickle down to the showroom so you can get the same features on your streetbike in a year or two. That being said If WSBK has traction control and electronics and so does your honda, kawasaki or yamaha, why does it make sense to you that an M1 or RCV should be any different?
