MotoGP » Valentino Rossi just a few tenths away?

"Rossi maybe a second behind in testing, but come race day, everybody is going to be a lot closer. At that point the one with the most heart wins, and that is usually Rossi... In the meantime everyone else is just borrowing success..." Posted by Westminister Ha, are you serious? The Repsol guys haven't even begun dialing in their bikes yet. Stoner rode this entire test on VALENCIA'S settings! Just imagine the times he'll punch out once he start trying to make the bike go fast!

MotoGP » Sepang MotoGP test times - Wednesday 6pm

You guys crack me up. Firstly, Dani set his time on the soft tyre, straight up this morning. He's also running the new engine and new fork, which Stoner is yet to try. My bet is that tomorrow Dovi will have a crack with the soft tyre and Repsol will have all three riders top of the time sheets for all three days. Very good times by several riders. Funny to see that the only Duke Rossi can manage to lap in front of happens to be "Capirex the dinosaur". These guys should be racing wheel chairs, leave the motogp to the talent.

MotoGP » Stoner analyses Ducati changes

Ducati to Rossi: Okay Vale, we've brought some new gear for you to try at this test. Have a go and see what you think. Rossi: So you guys put together an alu frame like I asked? Ducati: Sorry champ, but after all the money we wasted on buying you, there was nothing left to spend on the bike. Your just gunna have to make do with the carbon. Rossi: Argh! Fak you guys! I can't ride this thing. Ducati: Look, we'll set your bike up just like Nicky's. Follow him around and get him to show you how to ride. Then we'll fit all the new soft bits for you so it handles like a marsh-mellow. Surely you can manage to post a time that's not DFL. Rossi: This is gunna be embarrassing. Even Simo's gunna wipe the floor with me. Someone get me some training wheels. Where's Jerry? I need a hug!

MotoGP » Rossi takes part in surprise Superbike test

If Ducati end up changing to the trelis frame this year, Rossi/Ducati should be disqualified from all results. If it does happen, it will clearly show that this test had nothing to do with the shoulder, and everything to do with Ducati gaining Rossi's opinion on the trelis frame/new fork combination as apposed to the current carbon piece of sh1t. Obviously very different bikes but I'm sure Rossi could communicate what he likes/dislikes about both bikes to provide useful feedback to Ducati. Ducati could then build a bike around the positives of both bikes giving Rossi something he could ride. In essence, they have just gained an additional, very valuable test at an unfair advantage.
