F1 » Lauda upset with ‘unacceptable’ Mercedes mistake

For goodness sake this whole thing is ridiculous. Get over it the lot of you. You have a race where it is all but impossible to pass on the track - so not really a race at all then and you have pit stops involving human beings. It happens in life and really it is no big deal. If they want to stop stuff like this happening turn it into a real motor sport where there cars run until the end without pit stops, do it on tracks where passing is not only possible but actually probable and be done with the whole thing. It's getting as bad as football with all the prima donnas. Move on people.

MotoGP » Dovizioso 'can't wait' to put GP15 to test again

Gayclay: Don't worry dovi you'll do good in austin and if it wasn't for your experience and talent to help develop that piece of crap bike it would still be fighting for top 10.....
Why to people even write such rubbish as this? If it wasn't for Dovi develeoping that piece of crap it would still be fighting for top ten !! Sorry Gigi you are clearly not responsible for the new bike you designed - the online expert Gayclay knows the true story. Muppet.

MotoGP » Dovizioso 'can't wait' to put GP15 to test again

Codger: Dovi's defence he is renowned for his feedback and development skills. Gigi redesigned the bike with the input of all the riders' data.
Codger I am not in any way deriding the input of the riders. The original post said that it was only because of Dovi's development which is complete and utter nonsense. The operative word being 'only'.

MotoGP » Dovizioso: Ducati has done an amazing job

Harryx: The VW-Aprilia-Ducati with the special 12 engines , 24 liters and pseudo-qualifying tires runs under the open factory rule. They are not running in the same class with the Yamaha and Honda Factory bikes. its just the third category behind the open bikes... If VW has some pride in their bikebrand then they should give up all of the advantages now. With the +10-15 km/h extra topspeed and them saying they don't use the fuel anyway there should be no VW...are you ready to gain respect back? by the way Ducati are par on top-speed with the Honda.
Someone sounds rather bitter. Suck it up boyo the Ducati is back whether you like it or not.

MotoGP » Ducati sets new standard for pole man Dovizioso

golfnut04: That goes to show you, you are only as good as the machinery that you got, I'm happy for Ducati , but never liked "Dove" always had better equipment than most with not much to show,, racing day is a different story and the true racing craftsman's will show up and he will play second fiddle for the usual four suspects.
@golfnut seems like you don't actually follow the series too closely. I quote "you are only as good as the machinery that you got" (nice use of the language) - only, do you know what only actually means and do you have a clue about Moto GP? If you also recall,Dovi rode the wheels off the Repsol Honda at a time when the team wanted to shaft him. He met the targets in the contract to keep the factory bike and took the races to the top guys. Og course Scot Honda, Repsol Honda, Tech 3 Yamaha and Ducati are completely clueless and all selected a donkey to rode for them. They really should look to experts on sad geek forums for advic

MotoGP » ‘The GP15 is a real Ducati’

@HRC and you know this how exactly? Let's see Gigi DalliIgna a respected and proven motorcycle expertor a guy on a comments section of an internet page. Which one has credibility, knows what he is talking about and speaks sense? Think I'll take the formers statement as the fact here. It's copying that other famous Japanese desmo machine. The .................................................... oh yes that's right there isn't one. It's a Ducati and like it or not they inspire passion in people, the Japanese factory bikes don't - live with it..

MotoGP » Silverstone regains British MotoGP

Mysticmeg: Please mr silverstone can we have grand prix tickets for around the same price as the spanish fans,(about half) we usually get charged, then you might see numbers like the 100,000 bike fans that used to visit the silverstone bike race, greedy bstds
Please Mysticmeg can you also go to your employer and tell him that you are willing to work for the same average salary as is used in Spain. Please also get to all the big British companies and tell them that they must sponsor events to the huge tune that Spanish compatriots do. Finally also demand the local regions and government also offer the same subsidy as those in Spain and elsewhere, to ensure the existence of the GP events.

WSBK » New WSBK champion Guintoli joins PATA Honda for 2015

Kile: What an embarrassment for the series. You have a number one that will struggle to get a podium let a lone a win! It'll be worse than Nicky Haydon in 07. Sykes was the more deserving champion. Clearly Sylvain (irrelevant whether he's a nice bloke or not) benefited more from team orders, the weather in Magny cours and a much faster bike. Remember Sykes coming from 11th to win in Donnington. His 3 doubles... Won the pole award.. Does anyone honestly believe Sylvain is the fastest or best rider? Better than Laverty? Better than Melandri who whipped him the 2nd half of the year? Fact is Sykes has lost the title twice in 3 years due to Aprilia team orders. The fact Aprilia chose not to keep him and only Honda want him shows what a joke this whole situation is.
The more deserving champion is the guy with the most points at the end of the season. Beginning and end of story. Sykes entered the last weekend 12 points ahead and blew it, He has since made
