WSBK » New WSBK champion Guintoli joins PATA Honda for 2015

Kile: What an embarrassment for the series. You have a number one that will struggle to get a podium let a lone a win! It'll be worse than Nicky Haydon in 07. Sykes was the more deserving champion. Clearly Sylvain (irrelevant whether he's a nice bloke or not) benefited more from team orders, the weather in Magny cours and a much faster bike. Remember Sykes coming from 11th to win in Donnington. His 3 doubles... Won the pole award.. Does anyone honestly believe Sylvain is the fastest or best rider? Better than Laverty? Better than Melandri who whipped him the 2nd half of the year? Fact is Sykes has lost the title twice in 3 years due to Aprilia team orders. The fact Aprilia chose not to keep him and only Honda want him shows what a joke this whole situation is.
The more deserving champion is the guy with the most points at the end of the season. Beginning and end of story. Sykes entered the last weekend 12 points ahead and blew it, He has since made

WSBK » Sykes brands Baz ‘immature and disrespectful’

All respect I had for Tom Sykes has just left the building. The only person who owes a rider a position is themselves and no one else. If he was riding the bike better than Loris Baz then he wouldn't be having the issue. Go play tennis Tom if you want a game of doubles. I expect the usual thumbs down just because Sykes is British. I really hope Sylvain wins race two and the title as well.

MotoGP » Final 2015 MotoGP rider line-up

OK Crash - what's the deal with the comment about Karel Abraham? We all know his Dad owns the team but they guy is deserving of a place on the grid. Your comment adds nothing to this piece of information. It sounds more like a cynical side swipe and you should be bigger than that. I expect it from some of the muppets in the forums but not from the site content writers.

MotoGP » Redding waiting on Gresini for MotoGP 2015

alanw5293: We can only comment on what we've read so not you or I know how Scott has handled the events plus how do you know he couldn't match those other riders, MM,DP,JL even VR, have always been on full works bikes.Seem to recall him beating Rabat 2013.
He has shown great promise and is a talented lad, I am not disputing that, as I say I also hope he does well. My point is that all these guys and I am foretelling in the case of Rabat and Miler, have/will have world titles. Redding has nothing of note to show. Coming a close runner up is soon forgotten. He is not yet in a position to be thumping any tables and making demands. If you read what I said it was not a question of his ability it was a question of his attitude and the fact that if he does think he is bigger than Moto GP and believes that he should dictate what machine class he gets then there are plenty of equally talented and indeed more talented people who will gratefully full the space he vacates

So stay at home for a year and then see if anyone comes knocking after that 12 months. Need to be very careful what you say. This guy desperately needs to learn how to think as well as he rides as there is not a ton of thought going into his mouth at times before he opens it. Start banging the table like your some kind of hot poop when there are so many other talents around, some with titles to their names, is not the smartest thing in the world to do. I hope he gets a good ride and succeeds but he needs to wake up and realise that he is no Marquez, Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Rossi or even Miller, Rabat etc as I would not bet against either of those two being world champs by the end of the season.

MotoGP » Camier keeps Aspar seat for Silverstone

@biaggi - the relevance of Karel Abraham being partly sponsored by his Dad is what exactly? NONE of these guys have come from sink hole estates and you can be damn sure that families have sacrificed hugely to help them on their way. Bottom line is that if you are not good enough to be out there on the grid then no matter how much money you have you won't stay. Remember Paris Hilton sponsoring a team a couple of years back? If it was just about cash then she'd have been riding the thing. Karel Abraham is as worthy as any of the riders on the Open Honda's and it is amazing that there are still some people who can't see past his Dad. I would do the same for my kid if I had the money and he the talent.
