MOTOGP » Paris Hilton to attend Catalunya GP

well done Skidmarks - someone had to get the usual cynical barb in. This is news. You don't have to agree with the stupid celebrity culture the world has, I certainly don't like it much but it is a fool who dismisses it. The fact that the girl is showing up at all will bring a lot of publicity not just to her team but to the whole event and that can only be a good thing. Credit where credit is due and in this instance Paris Hilton deserves some kudos. Lets face it, she did not have to sponsor a European based motorcycle race team but she did. She would have got a whole lot more publicity if she had stuck her name on some dull car in the states.

MOTOGP » 125: Paris Hilton proud of Vinales win

What a bunch of cynical, loser types some of you are. More interested in trying to insult someone than actually thinking about the sport side of it. I have no opinion either way on Paris Hilton but fair do's to the girl for getting involved and putting some much needed cash into the team. It matters not a jot if she is interested in the past but today actions speak louder than words. None of you miserable, cynical SOB's spout off about FIAT for example who have sodded off as a sponsor once it suited them. I have no issue with them doing that, it is life but to take a shot at the girl and the team shows what a miserable, sad bunch some of you are.

F1 » Tin-top hero slates F1 stars' 'pre-scripted nonsense'

The man is bang on the money. F1 competitors are as dull as a wet weekend in Margate and come across as having the personality of a haddock. This is why the circus was so eager to get their hands on Valentino Rossi. There is a man who competes at the very top and has a personality to match. Moto GP has its dullnesses to - Mr Pedrosa being the prime example. He would fit right into an F1 paddock. In fact he would most likely be considered a bit of a happy go lucky, jack the lad by comparison.

MOTOGP » Abraham scores seventh despite crash

This is just brilliant. Even after the race in Qatar where he finished in the points there were still cynics saying that he did not deserve to be in Moto GP. This guy is a class act as a rider and as a person. Having met him I can confirm this to be the case. I feel more than vindicated in my pre-season support and anyone who ever thought that he was there just because he is from a rich family was clearly blinkered and jealous. How many riders in any classes grew up on sink hole council estates with no back side in their trousers? Precious few. Motor racing of any kind is not a poor persons sport

MOTOGP » Gardner: Rossi lost shoulder gamble

Guess it must be a slow news day on Wayne's site. Maybe if Vale had tested the Ducati last year he would be in an even worse place. The winter months without feedback would have been with less focus for the engineers. Personally I wished at the time that he had gone for surgery but there is one person and one alone on this planet who was qualified to make the decision. The bottom line is that there is still not a factory or team who would not like to be able to have Valentino on their machine. You don't have to like the guy to know that is true.

MOTOGP » Debutant Abraham ‘sorry’ rivals left him last

It's amazing that people still have a go at this guy. He is riding that bike on merit and so what if his Dad's company has done well enough to sponsor him? If he was not good enough to be on the grid then the FIM would not let him be there. If it was a case of all you need is cash then Paris Soddin Hilton would be out there and not just sponsoring a team. How many riders on the Moto GP grid in any class grew up on a sink hole estate with the **** hanging out of their trousers? None of them I would wager. The guy has been in touch all the way through testing, as a rookie on a bike which is known as being damn hard to ride and not been developed and fine tuned by Vale in previous years. How on earth some precocious ignoramus can come on here and state that Abraham is not ready for Moto GP is beyond belief. An arm chair expert completely unqualified to make such a statement or judgement. I can't wait for the day that Karel wipes the smug look off all their faces.
