If he is to truly fight for the title to the wire he'd need to get a head start in terms of points in 1st 1/3 of the year and defend it from there, if he's behind Vettel by half way its realistly over for him i believe, he will generally need a better car than Vettel for the majority of the season as well.

Disappointed that JB didnt get much running with the new car b4 Aus, he says that he has not been able to do any setup work with it which will be a disadvantage especially as he normally has a diff setup to Lewis so 2moro's setup work will be irrelevant to him. Shame.

Alot of people in the paddock are talking about how good they think the Force India is. Sebastien Buemi was saying that Force India have built a really good car, that it was handling very well and that he thinks the Force India is the 2nd best car at the moment behind the Red Bull with The Mclaren in 3rd. He also said that the Ferrari looked horrible on track, twitchy & terrible traction. Obviously no one knows about the lotus now because they haven't tested this wk now.

They were sending out chassis 1 but they used the data from this morning short run to test the chassis 1 at the factory with this morning's g-forces & strsses & other things etc and found the same prob happened on that chassis therefor all chassis now broken.....Game ova for the wk.!

Its common knowledge that Merc will have a special front wing with an F-Duct running throught it to stall the front wing as there is no rules on F-ducts being run of front wings, Martin Whitmarsh recons the Merc front wing F-duct will be worth 5-8kmh. There also obvious talk that they are pushing the the exhaust rules boundary even further than Ferrari & Mclaren, substantially further....
