BTCC » Plato calls for major rule rethink

To be fair the rules do seem a little odd in places, for example the Honda civic is probably one of the best chassis and as good as the BMW but Honda are forced by the series to run the lowest boost, less than the MG, even less still from the bmw and alot less than some of the others, there soooo slow on the straights its just stupid, the honda drivers must be tearing there hair out having cars just driver by them or constantly having to defend on the straights into next corner, if they had equal boost and straight line speed to the bmw then it would probably be a pretty good fight, the MG could do with smaller amount of straight line speed boost over BMW also, then those 3 cars would be pretty even.

F1 » Honda confident of matching Mercedes on F1 return

Buzz45: Honda's last engine couldn't have been all that bad because Button took it to 2nd in the WDC.
When did Button finish 2nd in WDC using the last Honda engine?, which was Honda's V8 Engine (2006-2008) he was 6th, 15th & 18th in the 3 season's of the V8 era before switching to Merc's V8 in 2009. i guess you mean 2004 with the Honda V10 when he finished 3rd, but thats not there most recent F1 engine.
