MotoGP » Rossi scoops ‘comeback of the year’ Laureus award

@factman -- This is about the "comeback of the year" award. We all know what Agostini did lol your wasting your time. Now to others who could have won this award not from the 70's Dani and Randy as you say. Well Dani didn't get hurt until motegi there were not many race left so he didn't have time to 'comeback' I would imagine that disqualifies him. Randy came back fast but didn't achieve the same results after his injurey so why in the world would he get the award?. Who cares really only you poor saps who can't stand to see Rossi win anything. Anyway back to watching the 2003,2004 seasons

@ nobody... put him on a factory Honda and he would still be last on the pecking order. Give him a factory bike he will do alittle bit better but that's it. Randy is a good rider, but would never win a race no matter what bike you put him on seriously. If you are a realist you would know he is never going to be a consistant podium finisher. But the point was not about how Randy is improved because I agree. But why would he get a comeback award because he came back early from injurey? and his results dropped off ?

MotoGP » Furusawa reflects on eve of Yamaha, MotoGP exit

Raw My first sentence ... Hopefully with some new parts and idea's they can get the bike (Ducati) to work better at all tracks even with the CF... Any way I SAID it needs to be better at all tracks which means the CF is obviously not consistant. But certain tracks Casey was damn near unbeatable. And before those crashes after Laguna in 08 he was right there pushing Val. So like I said I don'think it's all bad. I imagine if Val isn't getting the results after awhile a race win here or there but no threat for the title it will go down as a fail. I know most say it already is , maybe there right. But I will reserve judgement for just alittle longer. And yes 07 does not count they just got it right that year. Was just making the point he still was strong just not everywhere since that WC year.

Hopefully with some new parts and idea's they can get the bike (Ducati) to work better at all tracks even with the CF . As it's been said a million times on here Stoner did win the most races in the 800cc era so it can't be all bad. Looking forward to the next test to see how the teams improve also for the Qatar test, will be interesting to see if those results roll over to a new track.
