MotoGP » 2011 MotoGP World Championship standings

Is it any wonder that moto gp is dying on its backside when week in week out we are treated to a procession. I'm not blaming the riders, its a combination of the 800cc bikes (including the electronics) raising corner speeds, thus making a pass on the brakes much harder and over zealous race control who are now punishing riders who make an error when RACING in a decreasing window of opportunity. probably an over simplification but not too far from the truth. Thankfully its TT week.

WSBK » 'Disappointed' Melandri hits out at Biaggi

As a method of qualifying, and as a spectacle I've always preferred the single flying lap. If you **** it up...tough! This would mean that we wouldn't have 10 or more riders peddling around looking to hop on the back of the fast guys when they're on a hot lap. Also it would put an end to Biaggi's (and others) antics which are born of frustration at continually giving people a tow.
