F1 » Hamilton wins three-way battle at the 'Ring

@ Taipan "When Webber tried to pass Lulu at the same place Lulu ran wide, bumped wheels and came close to pushing Webber off the track. Alonso accepted that he was on cold tyres and did not bother defending a lost cause." How was it a lost cause? If he had of done the same as Hamilton did to Webber (which was a FAIR defensive manouvre) he would have kept the lead. He was caught napping, take those red tinted glasses off. Alonso is the man to watch at the moment, his current form is great - but he arguably lost this race because he gave up that "lost cause".

F1 » Horner: No individual is bigger than the team

Team orders are allowed now. Like it or Loath it. But Horner needs to respect people's intelligence and stop coming out with this nonsense. Maybe he didnt personally, but his boss wanted Vettel second and with the current rules they are within their rights to do this. Horner looked a bit torn at the end of the race, I dont think he enjoyed giving the order but he needs to stop making excuses.

F1 » Whitmarsh: Championship 'wrong focus' for McLaren

@Taz @ USF1 Although I don't agree with everything you say, I agree with how you say it. Every single story on here seems to end up decent into a slogging match at someone. Hamilton especially. Taz - I agree maybe whitmarsh is too "nice" to run McLaren. Nice guys finish last and all that. USF1 - Your a McLaren fan, yes? You think maybe Whitmarsh may find himself in trouble if things don't pick up in 2012? I hope not but can see it happening.

F1 » Whitmarsh: Championship 'wrong focus' for McLaren

A sad admission to what we already knew. Still hits home harder straight from the horses mouth. As a McLaren fan this season, with Lewis' indiscretions and the gap to RBR even bigger than last year it's been a tough one. Time to step up, they've got the money and the ability to develop the car quicker than arguably anyone else. They just don't have Newey. Still it's not been all bad. Button in Canada was pretty spectacular.

F1 » Vettel: Hamilton cost me shot at victory

@50 Cent (re: your comment at me a while back there) Yeah I agree. Vettel could drive a "championship" race for the rest of the year and it's already his. Imagine if he had of stuck a move up the inside of Hamilton and actually made it stick though, at Hamiltons home GP, with all the rumours of him wanting an RBR seat. He would of made a huge point. In my opinion (I highlight this - MY opinion) I don't think Vettel had the balls to make a move on Hamilton. Which fuels the fire for the Seb haters you see on here. If Alonso or Hamilton were in the same position (two very different drivers) and Seb in Hamilton's shoes the pair of them would have STILL taken over Seb (despite having the undercut available). It's all about psychology and getting one over.

F1 » Sixth a 'nice' result for Rosberg

Schuey has been pretty fun to watch recently so I gues you're just stirring aren't you stirrer haha. It's high time we see what Rosberg can do in a decent Vehicle. I thought we were going to get that in the Mercedes. Shame, I personally think he could have a good run at the championship in a competitive car.

F1 » Record crowds flock to 'best British GP in recent memory'

"meaning over 51% of everyone who was watching TV in the UK was watching the F1 race" That's insane!! To think we could lose the brilliant BBC coverage for Wimbledon is sickening. I don't think I could handle F1 going back to advert breaks. We have two British former world champions in F1 and a young pretender doing pretty good in his rookie year. Even without the three Brits this is the most exciting grid in years! The BBC must see sense. Henman Hill my ar*e!
