F1 » Button: Long-term deal makes no sense

So he has an offer on the table from McLaren, but they're not putting him under any pressure to sign it? Other teams may be interested but no solid offers have come his way? Well what's the point in him signing? I'm a McLaren fan and think Button' a great driver to have in your team, but he's got it right to wait. If he drives like he has the last two races for the rest of the year (why those around him are having trouble) and a solid offer from a other team actually materialises, the contract from McLaren will bag a few more £'s in it. I don't expect him to go anywhere. I expect him to be lot richer come contract extension time though.

F1 » Ecclestone: 'Wrong' to slate Hamilton, 'let him race'

@MAMBA I never blamed Webber it was a racing incident that, in the dry, wouldn't have been problem, just a touch. There's a great clip of Ayrton Senna (he was a racing driver) throwing it up the inside at exactly the same point at Monaco and it was considered an audacious, spectacular, unexpected move. The difference was he wasnt over taking Maldonaldo - who didnt expect the move and turned in. Before you start I'm not suggesting Hamilton has a scratch on Senna (the god). Plus I'm talking to a guy here who thinks that Nico Rosberg is a better driver than Hamilton. This is the worthless drivel I mentioned earlier. Who of the current crop of overpaid superstars is your idol? Give me name and I'll give you 5 incidents were (according to your logic) theyve crashed into someone. If you dont like someone you will always see it as they crashed into someone. If your neutral you'll see racing incidents. They aren't golfers.

F1 » Ecclestone: 'Wrong' to slate Hamilton, 'let him race'

Lets all take our we hate Lewis glassess off shall we and look at the contacts he's had. Im not even getting into the Maldonado penalty, if you think this was a penalty move on - if Maldonado had of seen him coming the same people who say this was "dangerous" would describe it as "world class". Massa - penalty, ill timed move. Webber - Unfortunate, for anyone else a racing incident. Button - Button admitted in his post race interview "I couldnt see anything out of my mirrors due to the spray, Ive already apologised to him". So Hamilton through it up against the wall and button collided with him. Ask yourself this, if Alonso had done this would you be blaming him? No. It was unfortunate and Lewis was the one who lost out. End of. He has not taken ANYONE out. Massa got out of shape on the marbles and hit the wall.
