F1 » Horner: Red Bull not eyeing Hamilton

This may sound like a a bit of a downer on Vettel's 2010 campaign, but I dont mean it to be but... If Alonso or Hamilton were in the Redbull last year the WDC would not have come down to the final race of the year - no way on earth. Hamilton and Alonso were able to get more out of their cars - which often werent good enough to grace the same track as Newey's machine. I think this was mainly down to experience. But now Redbull will have a different Vettel in their team, one who has won a world championship, the pressure has gone and I think the mistakes will dissapear. I think, if the RB7 is ahead of McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault as much as the RB6 was last year. Vettel will have the WDC wrapped up rather quickly. They know this and thats why they were desperate for him to sign a new contract. So why would Redbull want to sign Hamilton? It would only push (in my opinion) Vettel into the wanting arms of Ferrari. Rant over

F1 » Hamilton: Tyres and strategy key to early races

@F1Fan No worries mate. It does grate when every time there's an article about Lewis Hamilton it's just constant "lulu" this and "lulu" that - the guy is class and he is less of a loaner than Alonso (also class). Enough of the theory anyway, it's time to race. If this season is half as good as last season we'll all be happy, regardless of what driver or team we support.

F1 » Hamilton: We can turn this car into a title-winner!

@Rob I have always thought Brundle had a low opinion of Lewis mate. There hasn't been a particular event that made me think this. He jumps on Lewis' when he makes mistakes where it seems he lets other drivers off. I dont know maybe it's just me? Anyone else see this? @Richard @Sparky I mentioned the sandbagging in hope more than expectancy, I think your right. It's far too late in the day. I fear for McLaren. But they still have two great drivers, lets not forget RedBull had the best car by a mile and Vettel only snook in to win the WDC at the end - could have easily went to Alonso. What a year!

Mr Brundle (a man who knows as much as he entertains) made some pretty harsh comments about the new McLaren. He has always had a low opinion of McLaren, though and even though he may say different he certainly comes across as someone who is not a fan of Lewis. That being said, worrying times. But I echo the points made earlier, lets wait until the season has started before we write them off. They could still be "sandbagging" (fingers crossed) afterall McLaren are the media-spin Kings. Lewis Hamilton has got more world titles in him. I hope this McLaren isnt a let down. Lets wait and see.

F1 » Hispania completes 2011 F1 line-up

@df He must have been chosen for his money, because he doesn't have any talent. For sure, if he was racing against me (an F1 fan, who's closest experience to racing was carting for fun) he'd look like Senna! But he's seriously slow. Don't tell me he has speed, when? I said on a comment a while ago, Sato would have brought more speed AND money. This guy is poor and has far too a high opinion of himself!
