WSBK » FIM issues Bimota homologation statement

Rules and regulations are confusing everybody and costing all teams a fortune in WSB and MotoGP. Instead of restricting the bikes part by part every year why don't they just use stock bikes out of the crate for BSB, WSK etc. Remove the lights, race fairing, off you go.Then anyone could afford to go racing if they have the skills and talent. If they can qualify they can race. MotoGP should be for prototypes. 1000cc anything goes. Twins. threes, fours, six cylinder, turbo's superchargers anything. Then the designers would have a field day delivering us interesting motorcycles for road use. it would be fascinating racing.
