F1 » Coulthard: Massa, Hamilton spat 'overblown'

I agree - well put DC - actually maybe Lewis should have Jackie Stewart or Niki Lauda as his manager - they are always quoted in the media whenever Lewis has had an incident so take great interest in him - would be interesting... well to me anyway :)He does seem to be out of sorts and not that balanced currently and those in F1 obviously deem he is not achieving his potential both on and off track - the on track being the most important.

MotoGP » Rossi: Our bike is already good

@Scott: the part about Rossi going to Ducati to really concentrate on 2012. I am not the sharpest tool in the box - unless it is a box of oranges - but I think you make a valid point. I follow ALL forms of motorsport - OCD maybe :) - but I notice all of these guys are really media friendly most of the time - compared to F1. Rossi seems quite sanguine this year and whilst obviously disappointed with his current visits to the track - from P1 through to the flag - he is not morose or stand offish with the press. He is however more serious, but the development of the bike he is talking about above is maybe the main focus and maybe he believes the results he obtains this year, the derision from certain factions, people who he previously battled with on track with but he now sees seconds down the road, are worth it because of his belief that this very bike will be one he can battle with again next year

MotoGP » Rossi: We're all responsible…

@A1: Fair points in respect to joining in debates - whether I like the way they are going or not. However I do not mention or allude to "all to blame" as you phrase it - the key word - as above - is responsible. There is a difference between the two. Rossi has openly admitted that he needs to ride the bike differently- not all bikes work with the same style -he like Lorenzo prefers high corner speeds- whereas Casey prefers lower apex speed and huge acceleration - hence his spectacular power slides- and they do look good - not ALWAYS the fastest way though despite appearances. A bit like Colin Mcrae on a bike. The Ducati responds well to the latter - currently. However both styles require a different balance and line in the corner from each other. Rossi I am sure does not want to ride out of himself in case of injury again until he feels confident with the bike and he is still new to the team and bike.To try and impress and end up injured again would p!$$ ducati off. pt 2 below

MotoGP » Rossi: We're all responsible…

pt 2 I think - I could be wrong - that Vale realises his limitations currently and will be working on that - I believe he will come back as the hunger will grow more and more plus he is too good not to :- and that is his part to take responsibilty for along with setup choice . The team, for their part, have not sorted the bike for either of the riders just yet. I am sure this period will do him good and ducati and he will come out stronger. There have been some really goods posts on here today - some really funny : ) - and the very first one made me laugh as it was so true - but the spirit in which it was written was spot on.
