MotoGP » Ben Spies reveals tension with Yamaha

@west: And just to make sure I m a big Spies fan.. He has been phenomenal in WSBK.. And his first year in motoGP was impressive too.. But why did he struggle in the factory team?? The reasons may be plenty but, I think, it is mainly due to the lack of skills of his crew.. In the tech3 team he did well because his bike was mostly set up by the tech3 boys.. But in the factory team his crew took the prime role and hence his misery.. As to his bike wobbling in the races which were not DNF, it points out towards the bad setup.. Evidence also shows in his WSBK days when his bike failed to finish due to problems such as improper amount of fuel, tool forgotten in his bike... Same happened in the factory team too.. Now isn't his crew to blame??? Maybe he has had less support from the management.. But that doesn't mean Yamaha is putting his life at risk.. So conspiracy theorist, please go away.. I know most of these theorist are Yamaha haters.. THE BEST US FANS CAN DO IS TO SUPPORT BEN AND BE

MotoGP » Ben Spies reveals tension with Yamaha

@westerner: I think its you who is spinning up threads that do not exist.. It's clear that Rossi was planning a return to Yamaha from a long time back.. And I believe Lin Jarvis wanted that too because of lack of title sponsor.. But to think that he made Ben's engine blow up, you must be in delusion.. A simple electronic handicap would have been sufficient to make sure Ben finishes behind Jorge.. And you know what, it would have been unquestionable as it is the case now.. I think you are just trying to make Yamaha look bad.. Which factory do you support..?? Honda???

MotoGP » Ben Spies reveals tension with Yamaha

It's foolish to say that Yamaha would willingly sabotage Spies' bike.. They have the team championship, the constructor championship and THEIR REPUTATION at stake.. There has been problems between the management and him.. But to think that they are trying to kill him for that is really really dumb.. I think most of the problems Ben have had are crew related.. The run of bad things he is havin is unbelievable.. The important thing is that he doesn't lose faith in himself.. I really thought Ben would win Indy2012.. And I think Ben has silenced most of his doubters with his pace this weekend, marring the race fk up..

MotoGP » Ben Spies 'blew it' while trying to take the lead

BEN IS BACK... Sure the mounting pressure got the better of him and forced a silly mistake.. But his idea of a comeback was not a podium but a win.. That's what is so good to see... Unfortunately with the 1000's it is not easy to make great comebacks as in the case of the 800's.. You crash and you are done.. Still he managed 10th.. Thumbs up 4m me.. A bit bitter down the throat though..
