MotoGP » Second fastest Crutchlow still unsure

We have 1 second covering the first 17 riders, we have a 9 times world champ 0.3 off of fastest time yet sitting in 9th, we have Redding on a new bike 0.6 off double world champ Marquez and we have Cal 0.09 off the same double world champ, I accept everyone has their favourite and supports them but to criticise riders for the current results in FP3 is idiotic at best and shows a total lack of respect and understanding. MotoGP » Redding pleased about Silverstone return for MotoGP

I think those stating Donington is a better spectator circuit are remembering with rose tinted spectacles. I remember dreadful muddy piles of the weirdest earth (stained your boots for months), apalling catering and unbelievable queues to get in and out. As for questioning Scott's ability as a rider? I give up. Have half of you idiots ever watched a Motogp or Moto2 race in the past 5 years??

F1 » FIA bans driver performance radio messages

I have finally come to the conclusion that so many of the posters on here don't actually watch F1. I agree with the ban, it doesn't go far enough. So far this year I have heard engineers in the pits telling drivers when to change gear, where to turn into a bend and how much throttle to use?? Surely no one can agree that is acceptable?? As for some on here having a go at Lewis, hold on a minute aren't you all howling for blood on other threads where you categorically state he should be sacked for ignoring his pit messages?? Can't have it both ways guys! (If you all think it through logically, the reason we here more of Lewis and Nico's messages nips because they are at the front, it isn't just them that get messages from the pits guys??).

F1 » Rosberg disputes Hamilton claims

mrfill: I am reminded of Father Jack ... "Am I still on this fecking island?" Both drivers are now playing the wounded schoolgirl bit and no-one cares two figs about their handbags. This is no Prost/Senna scenario, more like Tinky-Winky and LaLa. And as for Mercedes, they have shown us that, engineering-wise, they can build a superb car but domestically they are like half-witted parents who let their children run riot, screaming around the local supermarket.
best analogy so far. I do however love all of these holier that thou responses about who said what etc etc. yes I agree Lewis should just go and show him who is best, if he really wants a championship, but you must admit we would all be hopping mad at the 'unfortunate' incidents to have befallen him so far this season. I absolutely believe Nico knew what he was doing (it is after all the usual outcome for such a touch), and I have no time for his smoke and mirrors BS. It's not being professional it is simply PR rubbish. As usual though F1 has to invent off track controversy to feed the ridiculous media. Until it is run as a sport and not a business it will continue in this vein for years to come. Don't forget business is run by accountants, and what interesting people they are??? :-))

MotoGP » ‘Intruder’ Dovizioso accepts hard passes

RoyO: Dovizioso's career has been a slow burn but he's become a really excellent performer. Consistency in getting optimal results out of an under-par machine is the hallmark of a great racer. In this respect he's beginning to resemble Alonso - although Alonso has never been underestimated. As for his team mate, it's amusing that he's now trying to be on-message when interviewed. Personally I think he'll screw up on a Honda just as successfully as he did on a Yamaha and a Ducati. Still, there's always BSB.
Slow burn? Hilarious, you could bbq a cow on that type of slow burn. Racing in motogp since 2008 and won one race despite having several years on full RCV? Underachievement I would say.
