MotoGP » Brno 'better' for Lorenzo despite Friday fall

Correct, Dorna has to hit on a formula firstly that the manufacturers agree with and that is affordable to the teams. That set of rules or formula as I called it has to be stable for a number of years so that R&D costs can be spread over a long period. This should lead to the manufacturers putting more bikes on the grid Sponsorship money has to keep flowing which is difficult in this economic climate. Lastly more countries have to promote grass roots racing, bringing youngsters through national series which folllow MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and SBK formats to the WC level. Ha, fixed!

MotoGP » Casey Stoner: MotoGP title hopes 'finished'

This thread is not about Rossi, drop it ! Not a Stoner fan as such but I wish him a fast recovery and to be back in time to race competitively at Phillip Island. Even though the title race is over for him lets enjoy the battle between Lorenzo and Pedrosa. The best sendoff these 2 can give him is to race him hard on his home track and for once I am happy to see him on the top step. After that stay home Casey, put your feet up, watch Valencia on your TV or just go fishing.

MotoGP » Buoyant Hayden expecting a 'wild one'

motofan, if you are really a fan of motorcycle racing why would you want Rossi to be without a ride in MotoGP? He has provided so much fun and excitement to the series over the years, nobody can deny that. desmoquak, Pramac looks likely to disappear from MotoGP due to financial troubles, but it would be great to see Ducati continue with 4 bikes and top riders aboard.

MotoGP » Ezpeleta explains MotoGP Rookie Rule change of heart

You may call it favouritism but the reality is that money talks. If there would be more young British, Aussie and American talent, and more sponsorship money pumped in by corporations from those countries they would have more influence in the way things go forward. DORNA should only have agreed to dropping the rookie rule in exchange for the manufacturers putting more bikes on the grid and convincing them to lower leasing fees. At this time there are more talented riders capable of making it in MotoGP than there are machines available. MotoGP needs more bikes and less rules!
