MotoGP » Suzuki pulls out of MotoGP?

The current situation is not of Dorna's making, the MSMA and especially Honda painted themselves into the corner. They pushed for the technical rules as they are now and at the same time refuse to make enough bikes at accesible prices to half fill a grid. They only have themselves to blame and Dorna is left to try to clear up the mess. Any formula involving prototype machines will only work if the manufacturers build enough bikes, at the moment they are not willing so it leaves CRT as the only route.

MotoGP » Suzuki pulls out of MotoGP?

Whether we like it or not CRT is the only way to save MotoGP from itself. To continue as we are now we would soon have 15 or less bikes on the grid with probably only 1 or 2 bikes dominating races. I would love to see Suzuki spend the cash saved in the next year or two on developing a 1000cc engine which they could then race themselves (in Rizla colours) and recoup their investment by selling it together with technical support to a good number of CRT teams. Six or eight Suzuki powered bikes on the MotoGP grid should please their many fans. This would be Suzuki's contribution to saving MotoGP.

MotoGP » Suzuki still silent on 2012 MotoGP plans

Bautista is already riding out his skin, hence the rash of crashes recently. I hope Suzuki's decision will come straight after this weeks tests otherwise they are going to lose AB and that would be a shame for them. I think Alvaro is being very loyal to Suzuki when he could probably get a better ride for 2012. I hate to to say it but CRT is the only way to go seeing the disappointing lack of commitment from the manufacturers.
