MotoGP » Bradl 'ready' but expects tougher challenge

Reese, please read above comment by MM regarding Elias, it was well known that the problem was with the tyres and his riding style not really the machine. Elias is still one of the few riders to beat Rossi and win a race on a satellite bike, and even put a satellite Ducati on the podium. His quality as a rider is not in doubt to anyone knowledgable in this sport.

MotoGP » Moto2: 'Motivated' Marquez won't lose focus

Motomoto, you obviously don't know much about the moto2 class. the engines are all honda, sealed and handed out randomly to the teams at each race so no advantage there. The rolling chassis are prototypes where each team and manufacturer are free to build or modify within a formula. There is nothing prohibiting each manufacturer giving assistance to a favoured rider and obviously they will give the best material to the most talented competitors, just like in any form of motorsport. MM is clearly at the top of his game and that's why he gets special parts! Simple innit ?

MotoGP » Suzuki pulls out of MotoGP?

The current situation is not of Dorna's making, the MSMA and especially Honda painted themselves into the corner. They pushed for the technical rules as they are now and at the same time refuse to make enough bikes at accesible prices to half fill a grid. They only have themselves to blame and Dorna is left to try to clear up the mess. Any formula involving prototype machines will only work if the manufacturers build enough bikes, at the moment they are not willing so it leaves CRT as the only route.

MotoGP » Suzuki pulls out of MotoGP?

Whether we like it or not CRT is the only way to save MotoGP from itself. To continue as we are now we would soon have 15 or less bikes on the grid with probably only 1 or 2 bikes dominating races. I would love to see Suzuki spend the cash saved in the next year or two on developing a 1000cc engine which they could then race themselves (in Rizla colours) and recoup their investment by selling it together with technical support to a good number of CRT teams. Six or eight Suzuki powered bikes on the MotoGP grid should please their many fans. This would be Suzuki's contribution to saving MotoGP.
