MotoGP » Moto2: Big accident for Marquez

Once again many critical comments before all the facts are known. Marquez has been given a one minute grid penalty which puts him at the back of the grid whatever happens in QP. Alzamora is appealing to the stewards stating that even though the chequered flag was out Marquez is on his last flying lap and so has a right to be racing. If he last passed the finish line previous to the chequered flag being waved that is indeed correct. Watch qualifying tomorrow and you will see the chequered flag out but riders still allowed to finish the lap they are on. Posters stating that as soon as the flag is out everybody has to slow down are incorrect. I'm not saying Marquez is faultless, lets just get facts straight before judging.

MotoGP » Lorenzo out to stop Stoner’s Australian title dreams

Incredible how this site has become a Stoner love in when he started to run away with the championship. A year ago he was not flavour of the month by any means, it seems to me there are a lot of bandwagon fans here. I would also like to see it go to the last race and will congratulate the winner, most probably Casey but lorenzo will go down fighting...and thats what race fans want to see.

MotoGP » Doohan: Stoner could beat my records - and Rossi's

David 1567, how can you be so certain Rossi will not ever win on the Ducati? Then at the end of your comment you state no ifs, buts or maybes. Your comment is pure fantasy intended to discredit Valentino Rossi in order to push up Stoner. True motorcyle race fans will appreciate both of these great riders. I'm not a Rossi fan but the way some posters here attempt to belittle his records is just pathetic.

MotoGP » Toni Elias starts WSBK test

What a bunch of pr1cks on here ! All you armchair pilots slagging off a guy, who has entertained us for many years with a spectacular style, won countless races, put the Ducati on the Moto GP podium, beaten Rossi for a win in hand to hand combat and won and dominated in Moto2, the most competetive class of racing you are likely to see. Sit back in your couch, open another bag of potato chips and write some more drivel. If you loved motorcycle racing you would give Toni Elias the respect he deserves.

MotoGP » Lorenzo wins Misano, Stoner fades

GJN I agree mostly with your comments regarding Spies. At the start of the season the majority of Spies fans were convinced he would blitz Lorenzo and had a real shot at the championship. They must be disappointed that he has failed to deliver so far and although he has showed flashes of his talent he has been inconsistent to say the least. He needs to learn to be fast from the first couple of laps and stay with the leaders. His late race pace is good enough and he is a fighter. At the moment Lorenzo is left to fight off 4 Hondas on his own, his championship hopes would be very different with BS in the mix and splitting the Hondas on a more regular basis.

MotoGP » Lorenzo wins Misano, Stoner fades

There are 5 races to go and 125 points to race for, so to all those giving stoner the championship you are slightly premature, 1 DNF and/or a slight injury costing points can upset the championship tables. That goes for stoner and anybody else. I was surprised that Stoner had no issues other than lack of fitness, he answered the interviewers question simply and honestly. I don't really like the guy but you cannot knock him for the post race comments. JLo will fight to the end, make no mistake. The fat lady has yet to sing !
