MotoGP » POLL: Who is the most impressive 2012 Champion?

I have to vote for Lorenzo on the basis of his faultless results and clinical championship. Cortese himself got better as the year wore on but i think had a faster bike than anyone in his class and a bigger advantage than anything the haters imagine MM to have had. I can also testify that if you have sat at the side of a MotoGP racetrack through all practice, qualifying, and races on a GP weekend it looks completely different than it does on TV. I didn't see anyone throw the bike into corners and spank it out with the self belief and confidence that Marquez demonstrated. Like it or not this guy is coming into MotoGP very close to the top of the ladder.

MotoGP » Excitement ahead of MotoGP debut

Personally I don't rate BS very highly, but he has the ride and i think we should lay off until he's had half a dozen races to show what he can do. Regarding Espargaro and Redding, I am happy to see them fight it out for the 2013 Moto2 title and move up on something other than CRT machinery in 2014. Good luck Bradley Smith, it will be nice to see you prove your doubters (me included) wrong!

MotoGP » Moto3: Cortese apologises for conduct

It really was an ugly tantrum from Cortese and Kent deserves a wholehearted apology from him and his team if the above is true. Having said that I can kind of understand him losing it due to the pressure. With the points lead he has he can be patient and probably take the crown next weekend. I will be there at Sepang to see it first hand javascript:insertTextCursor('comment', ':)')

F1 » Japanese Grand Prix, Suzuka - Qualifying times

I think most of you have it wrong regarding MS. To keep it all together for a qualifying lap is fine and dandy for Michael but to keep concentration for a 90+ minutes race is asking too much from the old geezer. Time and again he has chucked it away during the race, I think he is really too old now for racing at this level. I wish he would have stayed retired and used his knowledge to be a team manager. Happy retirement MS !

MotoGP » Brno 'better' for Lorenzo despite Friday fall

Correct, Dorna has to hit on a formula firstly that the manufacturers agree with and that is affordable to the teams. That set of rules or formula as I called it has to be stable for a number of years so that R&D costs can be spread over a long period. This should lead to the manufacturers putting more bikes on the grid Sponsorship money has to keep flowing which is difficult in this economic climate. Lastly more countries have to promote grass roots racing, bringing youngsters through national series which folllow MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and SBK formats to the WC level. Ha, fixed!
