F1 » Rosberg wins Mercedes battle for sixth

I don't know why all the Schumi-bashers are getting so happy about this result. First of all, this is the first time in the last 5 or so races that Nico has been quicker on race pace than Schumi... And Schumi clearly had a problem with his car this weekend, as he was down on straight-line speed which hurt him in quali and the race.. Ross Brawn said 'There was a difference in straightline speed on Michael's car which hampered his pace in relation to Nico so we need to have a look at that and understand why'. Merc later said that they couldn't work out what the problem was! So how is Michael supposed to beat Nico if his car was clearly slower!! Schumi has got his groove back this year, next year Nico 'average' Rosberg won't even get close to him...

F1 » Schumacher beats Rosberg to fifth

@ norville You wrote this 'when Rosberg came in his times were pretty similar to Shumi. He was being caught before that but the gap pretty much stayed the same for the last five laps before he coming in' What rave where you watching????? And one stage before the first pitstop Nico was 6 seconds ahead of schumi. After the first round of stops Schuni got it down to about 3.7 and the in the 5 laps before Nico's stop Schumi really reeled him in and on the lap Nico pitted the gap was just 1.3 seconds, hence Schumi was about to get the DRS and pass him on track anyway... Schumi clearly outraced Nico. Simple

F1 » HAVE YOUR SAY: Who was hot in India?

Michael Schumacher Proved yet again he is best of the rest other than the top 6 cars who are much quicker, yet he beats some of the every now and then anyway, which Nico cannot do. Great drive from Schumi, great race craft, very consistent race pace which lead him to beat his teammate, in the same car, from 4 positions behind him on the grid... Driver of the Day. Watch out Vettel, Button, Alonso, Webber if Merc get a competitive car next year. The Master is still hungry and he will hunt you down and challenge for podiums and race wins!

F1 » Schumacher beats Rosberg to fifth

@ Richard Absolute Rubbish... Nico's stationary time was 4.3, while Schumi was 3 odd seconds, and yet Schumi came out about 3 seconds ahead... only to lose that time immediately to a lock up and then running wide in turn 1 which brought the gap down to about 1.5 seconds... Once Schumi got his tyres up to temperature he pulled a gap again in any case... Before the stops Schumi was reeling Nico in, so either way the pass was inevitable

F1 » Schumacher beats Rosberg to fifth

Very impressive drive from the legend Schumi yet again! When he finishes the race it's in the top 5 lately, awesome to watch! Very consistently quick today and looked after the tyres better than Nico meaning that he could stay out longer. And again he beats Nico in the race after qualifying 4 places behind. Schumi has the far superior race craft and race pace when it counts, that much is abundantly clear. If Merc can get a good car next year that can challenge for race wins, Michael Schumacher will be the man who they pin their hopes on for victories, not Nico... MSC - Class act
