F1 » Caterham backed to join midfield battle

Being given respect by their peers must feel as good as a win for the team. Caterham are still a few years from possibly making a podium, but they are doing things properly and improving. The additions made to the team in personnel will help and their driver development program will produce some capable drivers very soon. Glad to see a new team put forth this type of effort and not waver in their commitment to become competitive.

MotoGP » Ben Spies: Yamaha working on everything

Guys, you should not respond to any statements made by Nutsome. He only shows up to slag off Spies and disappears when Spies does well. He is incapable of giving Spies credit for anything. He is so blinkered that he cannot even look at the Assen race and see how Spies controlled that race, responding to any fast lap laid down by Stoner with one of his own. Spies ran 12 consecutive laps quicker than Stoner and had the fastest lap of the race, but it was somehow a gift, hilarious! Nutsome is correct about one thing, that Stoner did quit trying to catch Spies, but only after Spies broke him. Stoner's own on board camera confirms that the Sic/JL accident had no bearing on his race, as he did not even check up out of the throttle when it happened. So just let Nutsome rant away, his opinions are consistent, as they lack any substance.

MotoGP » Ellison shrugs off CRT qualms

@roadking03 I posed the question earlier in this thread, to those who were verbal assaulting anyone who questioned Ellison's worthiness of being in MotoGP again, whether if an American or Australian having the same career record as Ellison, would they be embraced with the same enthusiasm or would the hire be viewed as questionable. I can state from experience that it would be questioned and ridiculed by many, so why is it not permissible to question this hire? The questions I posed to "dear sam" were to try to understand his perspective. He was full of many inaccuracies in his statements, and took many pokes at Americans in general, some were deleted by crash along with the majority of mike hunt's posts. So it is fair to ask his nationality. I believe people did not even read my initial post, as they took insults where none were intended, then like a mob they all came after the evil man who posed a legitimate query.

MotoGP » Ellison shrugs off CRT qualms

@dear sam Since you failed to notice, I purposely left off the 2011 season of partial racing, which he actually finished 16th not 11th in points, from my Ellison clone. Ellison also finished 7th in WSS, behind Sam Lowes whom was 6th. There are also no current pay riders from the US in MotoGP, but every Brit present is a pay rider. And if I were referring to Edwards, his achievements easily eclipse those of Ellison, he is actually a real multiple time world champion, whom has posted 31 wins and 87 podiums on the world's biggest stages. Ellison did post 15 podiums in a single season of domestic level racing, Edwards posted 25 straight podiums in 26 races at the world level.

MotoGP » Ellison shrugs off CRT qualms

@dear sam I understand that you were referring to his MotoGP record, but you were comparing CE's top tier record to domestic series results in a poor attempt to belittle Edwards accomplishments. Now since you lost that battle you now want to compare CE to Stoner? Really? I will be the first to agree, that Stoner is an elite rider and maybe one of the finest ever, but what does that have to do with Ellison? Please explain this remark that you made, "Like the good old USA pay for their riders because they have no talent". What country are you from?

MotoGP » Ellison shrugs off CRT qualms

@roadking03 A pay rider is a rider who buys their seat, as opposed to a contracted rider who is compensated by their team. All three American riders are currently contracted riders, your countrymen cannot say the same. You can question my motives for posting, but nevertheless not a single person has addressed my question that I posed. I believe that is because my statement is true, and rather than agreeing with my post you decide to insult me and my country.
