F1 » Whiting impressed with Circuit of the Americas

Wow, the anti United States sentiment in this thread is simply dumbfounding. Some people will go to any lengths to come up with some arrogant or self-serving reason that any American does anything. I wish we were truly as evil and arrogant as you people would like us to be. I wonder why Spain, Germany, and the UK aren't blasted for hosting the European Grand Prix in the past? Are any of those nations Europe? The arrogance of them to host a European race, like they are the sole enlightened people of Europe! See how ignorant you people are, this the very same thing that you are doing, it is called spinning the facts. Some you you need to get educated and learn tolerance, because many of your generalized statements are offensive, dumb, and totally incorrect.

MotoGP » Spies: We should be on the pace quickly

The Spies haters on this site are biggest collection of twonks I have ever seen. Just so that you are aware, it is not a requirement that you read or post on any article on this site, it is actually voluntary to do either. Why not post in support of a rider you actually like, or does your blinkered hatred make you incapable of such activities? Your comments are really rather pathetic.

MotoGP » 'Fine-tuning' for Ben Spies

Don R The teaser tweet that Spies made stating he was going "home" does not translate to the BMW deal for me. It would make considerably more sense if Yoshimura USA were to join WSBK, especially given the lack of results for Suzuki this year. Crescent is just not representing the brand as it should, and Yoshimura must be disappointed being attached to that effort. Also, I would imagine that Suzuki has been doing development on a GP bike at their test track. It would be short sighted for them not to be, if they truly anticipated rejoining the grid any time soon. Also the Schwantz/Jordan Pepsi Suzuki rumor may be intriguing enough to appeal to the Corporate PR people at Suzuki to give it the green light to move forward. I guess we just need to wait to see how it all falls into place.

MotoGP » Illness bugs Ben Spies at Mugello

@Italy 20 - Britain 17 I am not saying that the years where Americans did not compete in any series do not count. Those champions earned their titles and the respect that goes with it. But at the same time, I am not sure that you can deduce that American lack of participation was because they were not qualified or capable, as others have insinuated here. I am well aware that riders from outside of Europe have contested individual races since the series was formed but are you aware that it was actually 1953 before a non-European fully contested for the championship and ran every event?
