MotoGP » Can MotoGP ever crack the USA?

The sole reason Moto GP is not popular in America is because Speed TV uses Scott Russel. His southern drawl accent is so deep, most Americans not growing up in the back woods of Georgia, have no idea of what he's saying. I don't know if he's talking about moon-shining, BBQ-ing a pig , motorcycle racing, hunting skunks, or "Boss Hog is gonna get them Duke boys" Scott also is not designed for HD TV. Please Speed TV, you guys need to give a warning scroll, or put his visuals on a 5 second delay. Speed TV makes us listen to Scott Russel, instead of the two Brit guys for Indy and Laguna Seca. That scares everybody who may possibly get into Moto GP away. Scott is a great guy, and knows his stuff, but he's not audible to 99% of America. Here's a quick reference guide to translate what Scott may say. "We fixing" = We are about to do something "He reckons" = The rider is thinking about something "Around yonder" = What happening on the other side of the track "Put some giddy up" = Rider is

MotoGP » Ben Spies to leave Yamaha MotoGP team

I got my Yamaha 50th anniversary R1 because Ben won in those colors. Oh, well. I 'm still a Spies fan, and I hope he stays in Moto GP, but I like the idea of him moving into BMW, or like someone else speculated, Suzuki. Michael Jordan is a billionaire with two Suzuki teams in AMA. He has stated several times he would like to race in GP in the future. He could fund a full Suzuki GP effort with NIKE title sponsor advertising, and any of the other 100 products MJ endorses. So I could see Spies, and maybe one of his AMA guys moving into Moto GP next year. MJ is not concerned about losing money. His NBA team is the worst in the leagues , and makes the least amount of revenue, and he could care less. This means he's willing to dump a ton of money into Suzuki GP. Anyways , that's my take.

Here's the FIA link just for the rest of us, We get it Taipan, you hate Hamilton, but do you have any real content you can ever add. You are so boring....

F1 » McLaren, Hamilton hit back at Vettel criticism

Hamilton has every right to unlap himself. What direct rules in F1 prohibits that from occurring? Henceforth it is legal and valid. Vettel, you lost because you swung wide on right corners all day and lost time due to penalty. Hamilton helped his team out, and helped Jensen. That's just good team work. Well done Lewis. Professional basement bloggers (Taipan) in their middle years, still living in their Mommy's dweller will have a different opinion. No matter what, Hamilton can do NO right. Next crash Topic. "Hamilton wipes his **** (ass for us Americans)left handed from bottom to top" 1. LuLu has it all wrong. Biophysics says it must be done from the right hand for the most efficient swipe. I'm an expert at this also, because Mommy lets me use the basement toilet. Posted by Taipan (10 minutes ago)

MotoGP » Illness bugs Ben Spies at Mugello

I am still a tremendous Ben Spies fan, but I can no longer defend this season. Dovi is the the clear cut second best Yamaha rider and it would be criminal NOT to reward him with the factory bike next year. Fore those of you that want to bash Ben, go for it. However , if you in anyway still think that Cal should get the factory Yamaha after again seeing Dovi put the same bike on the podium for the fourth time, is just as crazy as Ben deserving to keep his ride. C'mon Cal you have to be able to pass others. The race is not a qualifying session. Be more aggressive and make the passes. Cal gets stuck behind to easily. Also Cal, re sign with Tech 3. A Sat Yamaha is still better than any Duc. Dear Ben Spies, I am a great fan of yours, but your results suck this year, and in an analogy, "There are definitely hotter chic's at this party, and your looking fatty" Get it together Ben.

MotoGP » Frustration as Spies loses out to Dovi again

I've heard of Ben Spies and Andrea Dovizioso. They are both Moto GP race winners. Who is this Cal Crutchlow guy? Has he won a race? Has he been on a podium? Has he ever had a factory ride? Is he the number 1 rider on his own team? Why the fuss about this Toseland guy, oh I mean Cal , or Tom Sykes, or is it Cal?. Its hard to get all these mid pack Brit riders names since they come and go. Oh , wait , Bradley Smith come next year.....
