F1 » Andretti suggests customer cars will happen

I actually think customer cars will happen. Teams like Red Bull, Ferrari or even Lotus will sell cars to teams. Similar to Yamaha in the motogp, you get the base spec car and any development from there on is up to you. Force India with a Merc donk and a Red Bull chassis would be good to watch. I don't hate it and I'm not offended by it. If it improves the racing, bring it on.

F1 » Ricciardo excluded from Australian GP

Taipan: It would be a shame if he lost his podium, he drove well all weekend but rules are rules. There was also a report that Merc were warned about exceeding the fuel flow limit during practice but no action was taken. Toto denies this and claims they "voluntarily reduced their fuel flow and if they had ran it at 100Lph they would have been half a second faster"
They apparently amended the fuel flow monitoring or something on Saturday. Maybe it was within spec in the previous monitoring but out under the amended?

F1 » Vergne: Webber tired of team-mate’s success

Lets not forget about 4 or 5yrs ago RBR admitted they built the car/team for Seb. They said at Webber's age you can't build a team around him. Everything on that car was suited for Seb. Webber, and his size, would have put the car out... albeit slightly. It was reported that Webbers last contract earned him around the 10m mark (not sure if Pounds, Euro or US), I'm sure he had 10m reasons to stay until something else came his way. All in all, I think RBR wanted a younger cheaper driver to partner Seb. I'd be thinking Seb will be on the 20m mark (with Hamilton and Alonso) next year and they wont be paying Dan 10m out of the box.

MotoGP » Title favourite Marquez in command

For me, Marc has nothing to lose. If he comes second in the WC tomorrow then he is still a winner because I doubt many expected him to fight for the championship in his first year. Unfortunately, again for me, Danni is the biggest loser this year. This was his best chance to win the WC and he blew it (regardless of coming off the bike numerous times). I actually really feel for Danni. He pretty much played second fiddle to Stoner for years and unfortunately this year has been the same... second to Marc. I somewhat have that unfortunate feeling that Danni would be better off moving to another team. I don't feel now that he can win a WC at Honda.
