F1 » Webber: F1 needed a facelift

"The switch to V6 turbo has nothing to do with being environmentally-friendly, but more of a way for the FIA to slow down RB and Vettel." So what you're saying is that all the way back in June 2011 when the World Motor Sport Council voted in favor of introducing smaller V6 engines, what they were really concerned about wasn't the recent exodus of three manufacturers citing lack of road relevance (Honda, Toyota, BMW) and a forth limiting their involvement (Renault), but rather slowing down a one-time world champion in a one-time world champion team? Is that seriously what you believe.....?

F1 » Indian GP safe as hearing is delayed

OnlyTheBest - You're assuming that the Indian government has some sort of involvement or role to play in this Grand Prix, when actually it is an entirely privately funded event. If there are complications regarding taxation on a local or state government level it's their prerogative to investigate it - the President of India isn't going to wag his finger and make sure it doesn't get cancelled, it's none of his business. Furthermore you need only look at the critical devaluation of the rupee in recent months to see that India missed it's opportunity to be an emerging market. It's actually going backwards, not least because of rife corruption and the complicated bureaucracy that causes problems like this for F1 in the first place.

F1 » 'We have to remember these days' - Vettel

The incessant hatred of Hamilton and the amount of time certain members dedicate to expressing it here is obsessive and borderline disturbing... There are people in the world I dislike too, but I try not to let them occupy my time and thoughts. Maybe you people need to find something you can be passionate about, like a musical instrument, painting, or gardening... I'm serious, it's just plain weird...
