F1 » Red Bull appeal rejected

If the meters are truly out of spec, I think RBR did the right thing by putting it all on the line to prove it. If they just complained, they wouldn't be taken seriously. Problem is a jury of your peers that you compete with, and have dominated for four years isn't a fair trial, especially when they have made the meters work.

F1 » Red Bull to learn fate on Tuesday

as bill clinton said it depends on the definition of 'is'. If RBR continues its present defiant fuel measurements its is . if they claim to stop its 'was' I think they are backed in a corner and have to carry on, if they capitulate they have lost the argument for good. if they hold stead fast through the season with piling penalties, they will fight it out in court. I will stay tuned.

F1 » Ericsson losing half a second in weight

Yes with the new rules, it was the death knell to the much heralded 'horse jockey' era of F1. The pint sized warriors, having spurned the equestrian circuit had been replaced their too. They couldn't even buy a ride on an old nag. Sadly, the few that stayed sober were reduced too being over-sized muntchkins for a second rate off- Broadway traveling wizard of oz production.

F1 » Rosberg fastest on day one of test in Bahrain

@Firestorm I just don't 'expect for it to happen without spec cars. None of us want that either. I guess it's the nature of the beasts (plural because of the many entities including wild card Charlie) IMO, the cost and complexity of the last two formulas and rules have all but destroyed the sport. In 1964 for instance, you had Surtees- Ferrari, Hill- BRM, Clark-Lotus, 1, 2, 3,for WDC. Just one example, expect to see that again soon? That isn't likely going to happen again. So what's the answer?
