F1 » V8 GP support to adopt double points’ format

1 JeZ I'm not saying, I'm asking? There fore I don't what I'm talking about! But I am familiar with spec chassis NASCAR, I am familiar with fwd compact body skins over rear wheel drive tube chassis, and finally 5 liter spec. Trans Am pony cars. Ive even seen 6 or 8 super car races on tv But I'm not an Aussie and thats why I asked. The broadcasts don't typically go into the rule book, here in the States Way back, GM re cranked their 5,7 to 5L, put it in a camaro and had their quickest revving (best ever) small block . Ford stroked their 289 ci to 5L. It's just cranks heads and rods, easy stuff.

F1 » Raikkonen ‘is more mature’ at Ferrari

LWS: Good thing about Kimi is he will race well in any environment, whether it is him racing a younger talent or him racing an experienced seasoned pro like Massa, and you wont see him asking for team orders. The guy is just quality racer. As for his new team-mate who for me is the best driver in F1 at the moment when his team-mates have been told that they are a number two is known for temperamental breakdown when faced with a driver of his equal or better as we saw in 07, and if Kimi gets the better of Alonso then god knows what could happen at Ferrari. In Alonso's favour he is well aware of what to expect from Kimi in 2014 which was not the case in 07 when he came up against pure raw pace.
Thats why they have three backup drivers, prepare for any possibility

F1 » FIA to consider new team applications

rob01: when they take applications its a strong indication that they anticipate the need to replace a team. or that the rules will be changed enough to draw new blood. cap limits, customer cars, parts of the shelf kinda offers or perks
those are some radical changes i.e. customer cars, shelf parts. are you suggesting its all a bluff, or the FIA would allow this? Can you imagine the fowl today's back markers would cry?

F1 » FIA to consider new team applications

As long as Bernie and the FIM are in charge, the F1 caste will doom new comers, The entry bond killed Super Aguri and they made Catterham, Virgin and Marussia look like fools. More worrisome is Bernie's fix on the tracks. If Spa, Canada, Australia etc can't pay the freight, and they bail, then who cares anymore? If the whole calendar moves to Asia/ Middle East, a lot of us will be be done with all of it. BTW I'm serious about those turbo diesels, there heading are way
