Being homologated translates to one company making all the meters, like the Pirelli tyres. If you get a bad tyre you change it lose 20 seconds. If you get a bad meter you either retire or go on, hope for the best. Maybe RGR has evidence the FIA are wrong, or as unreliable as the meters are, hoped enough problems developed throughout the field, The FIA would just throw out on fuel flow for this race. As bad as I felt for Massa, I feel worse for Riccardo.
