areyoutalkingjibber: cont. the win? yes, would he be the worthy champion?NO
I suggest you go to the official F1 website, sign up for live timing and scoring and learn how a lap is timed. Then compare driver vs driver. Keep in mind the artificial influence of DRS.
I'd suggest you explain to me how the SLOWER driver CLOSES a 7 second gap?????
Happens all the time, For a measured period of time through a 71 lap race an all but identical car is able to accumulate a diminished gap to the car ahead. But alas, this is not enough. And the perceived 'slower car' wins the race. In other words Scoreboard!

richard: lulu spun, nico didnt. so who was in better control? also interesting to see sector times....lulu with drs in sectors 1 and 3 could barely stay with nico, and in sector 2 where lulu didnt have drs, nico was quicker. so he really deserved the win. some good drives down through the field, and which we didnt see. great effort by kimi to keep ferdi behind him for so long. and flip showed all the doubters that he is still a force to be reckoned with, even if he did take a detour to macca!
idiot you dont close a 7 second gap by being slower. That said good drive by Nico he didn't crack at the end,but to try and justify Nico as a worthy world champion after failing again to match Lewis for race pace is juvenille drivel
Idiot? that was at best, a speak before you think moment. How long have you observed F1

F1 » Button could turn down F1 deal at McLaren

Jenson has a unique situation. He could leave head held high, after all he's healthy and wealthy. He could retain a seat with the new Honda power, which could be good bad or ugly. He could replace a certain SKY commentator with the experience of one who's actually competed this century, against the current line up. I don't think he would simply disappear from the lime light. Personally I would like to see him help develop the new HAAS car, as driver or management.

How silly! Martin Brundle's one of the best informed, insightful and usually (he has the odd lapse moment) most observant comentators of any sport in the world today. or are you talking about the Hill/Herbert double act in the pre/after show?
yes
