F1 » Hamilton: Germany not Rosberg’s home race

Ptolemy: This Lulu guy makes me sick. The article indicates Lulu was "joking" about Nico's nationality yet Lulu provides a plethora of "proof" that it is true. Not standing by the flag. Not actually staying in Germany. Etc. One of the posters here suggested Lulu's "tongue in cheek" comment was viewed harshly by some people here. What kind of people defend this guy? I mean he's basically attacking Nico and who Nico is. I ask, is Lewis Hamilton really British?
Perhaps Lewis is Chinese, or what ever country that built his couch. Remember, the one he slept on as a poor and hungry lad. All these years, I've been neutral on Lewis (mainly because he never soiled my Williams team) But enough is enough, gag him someone

F1 » Red Bull has engine options for 2016

107SS2009: The present three F1 PU manufacturers are the most experienced and successful, regardless of mistakes/miscalculations that have been done this year ( mistakes which cannot be rectified this year) it is hard to imagine a new comer to F1 PU manufacture (any of the new names being bended about) jumping into the fray and producing a product any better than any of these three can.
Agreed. That's why I wrote the whole cost saving 'green' era is an hypocrisy. The pinnacle of motor racing should not be hamstrung for the sake of costs that actually result in more costs. The restrictions on testing and in-season improvements were supposed to help the lower budget teams. And attract new teams. Horse hockey.

F1 » Lauda: ‘Alarm bells are ringing’

Of course, merc will not be overtaken. But with Williams and Force India's speed, and a few aero upgrades they could become a nuisance. What I miss most of before this spec series is the days when mac or williams or ferrari, etc, would just bring out a whole new car. Around 1979, I think every team replaced their car at least once, trying to clone the Lotus.

F1 » Hamilton: Frustrating to lose time in stops

richard: champers. yes, i was at spielberg yesterday! probably the nicest setting of any track (apart from spa). a fantastic job has been done on the track and it is the most spectator friendly track in f1. i wasnt in the pit lane during the race, but there was plenty of talk about lulus overshoot afterwards. at the end of the day, lulu spent most of his time within drs distance of nico, but despite the availability of a higher top speed, he was unable to actually challenge nico. nico had it under control
Looked good on the telly too. But being there, would you agree that it's narrow and hard to pass? ( others have made this comment. Being a proper non tilke euro track, I wouldn't change anything.)
