MotoGP » Vote for your MotoGP Rider of the Year!

Settle down boys. Simo had a good end of season but let's not forget the mistakes he made in the beginning, didn't finish many laps let alone races. Rossi had a dog of a season on the Ducati - although he did seem to be making it look a lot harder to ride than Hayden who I think had a pretty solid year. Stoner - love him or loathe him - he was consistent (no silly fall offs on the warm up lap this year...) and he was fast. Quite a lot faster than his team mates. Think my stand out riders are De Puniet and Bautista. They may not have clocked up a lot of points but good racing from them and I feel they got everything and a little more out their bikes

MotoGP » Kevin Schwantz to lead Simoncelli lap of honour

Wow seeing that 58 bike do a final lap is going to reduce me to a blubbering wreck. Awesome amounts of tributes going on among all three classes this weekend, it's going to be a tough one but loud bikes, loud firecrackers and thousands of loud people commemorating Simos memory is a fitting end to a larger than life character who deserves a loud send off! Wherever you are now Simo you're going to be able to hear this one!

MotoGP » Gresini team to miss Valencia?

It would be nice to have Valencia as a celebration of Simo, get all the riders there (put some of them on scooters if need be!) have a few processional laps say goodbye to #58 in style. Tragedies in motosport are always horrific and it's hard to look past that final instance and remember all the fantastic moments we had with them before - but Simo was always a mass of hair and smiles and I think we need to remember him like that in the final race and let the fans and riders give him a proper send off. RIP Simo, thank you for all the wonderful moments you gave us

MotoGP » Edwards confirms Suter-BMW for MotoGP 2012

eep the closest CRT is 4 seconds off the pace? Desperately want to see more bikes on the grid but this seems more like there will effectively be two seperate races going on, the only contact the CRT bikes are going to have with the "proper" teams is when they get lapped. The guys coming up from Moto2 are in for a shock... I think we'll see some frustrations from them - hopefully not the kind that gets other people taken out
