WSBK » WSBK Donington: Canepa flies Ducati flag, Checa withdraws

@Red Rubbish, and as to the CC advantage, there is a very simple explanation, the FIM Board simply attempted to be INCLUSIVE. If you want my opinion, I think that FIM did the right thing but at the same time in pure terms I think that a 1200cc machine should belong to another class. FIM have done the same with the Triumph in the 600cc class this did not give triumph the dominance that Ducati has had in WSBK

@Red rubbish, I dont think you have answered my question, I want to know exactly how Ducati have manipulated the rules of WSBK under FIM in order to achieve 72% manufacturers wins (This is your version). So far all you have given us are vague allegations with no factual information. For your argument to stand you will have to prove to the public that the FIM board members who promulgate the rules have been swayed by Ducati Since 1989. Give us SOLID information, something like "did the FIM board members have a conflict of interest or were they bribed"? if you cant do this, then it is simply not good enough to offer wild allegations that belong to primary school playground gossip.

Again I salute Ducati for taking the risk in developping the avant-garde frameless Panigale and the carbon fibre Chassis in MotoGP. While the average spectator sees a decline in their progress it might just be the opposite happening. And even if not, trust me Ducati will be back. It has to be respected that since the first Superbike World Championship in 1988 in Donington Ducati won 18 out of 25 Manufacturers championships (72%) came 2nd 3 times, 3rd 3 times and in 1988 5th. There is no better racing breed out there.
