MotoGP » Rossi: We destroyed the front tyre

ROSSI will always be the man to beat title wise in the modern era. Not sure if he has another WC in him but I do know one thing, in my opinion he is the quickest and most gritty 35 YEAR OLD racer I've ever known! Vale mentioned along with some other riders that using the 2013 spec tyresfor Austin was a strange choice as the 2014 bikes are all set up for the 2014 Bridgestones. Anyway it's over now 8th was the best he could manage under the circumstances and before anyone pipes up and hits the neg, try riding/racing a high powered machine on screwed tyres it's heart in the mouth stuff! A 150bhp bikes bad enough let alone one with 240+ bhp!! Good luck to all riders for rest of season. Peace everyone.

MotoGP » Rossi: 'Emotional' Sunday, 'can’t wait' for Tuesday

Well folks i set off for airport in an hour :) got a weekend pass and will be staying until Thursday :) I can't wait. You see it doesn't really matter to me whether Rossi is a second or 5 seconds (won't happen) off the front runners at next weeks testing, i am going for the sheer pleasure of seeing the phenomenon that Valentino Rossi # 46 is. That will be me very happy and this will be my 28 motoGP visit in 10 years :)

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Stoner most talented I have seen

Hmmm? Genuinely yes Casey is phenominally quick but for obvious reasons the term "your ambition outweighed your talent" springs to mind also with Casey. Talent alone is just not enough otherwise he would have definately won more than the 2 WC's over the 7 year stint for sure! Anyway this will all be yesterdays chip shop paper soon and it's a shame really because of next years line up! Would have been more special with casey there to be in the mix of things. However, life goes on and it is obvious anyway that MOTOGP has been going down the swanny for a few years now. Good luck to Casey in whatever he does and his family and to all involved in the MOTOGP fiasco.......

MotoGP » Rossi: Seventh was best I could expect

Well i was going to come on here to post a mature grown up comment but unfortunately there is no point! Will only fall on deaf ears and blind eyes! 1 word of advice, ask yourself how stupid your comments are going to look......before you post them. Goodbye crash.net and most of all GOOD LUCK (you will need it with some of the people on here, it's like bloody kindergarten!)

MotoGP » Casey Stoner flattens Phillip Island practice

@ pi man........Don't come on here hoping a rider bins it m8, it's just bad sportsmanship not to mention EVERY time someone does, they risk their lives! @ ja.....C'mon m8 i am a HUGE Rossi fan, have been since the mid 90's but even i must admit that the Rossi/Ducati relationship has been 50/50! Ducati at the moment are admittedly 'seasons' behind Honda and Yamaha but also Rossi's only 100% performance i have seen in almost 36 races has been at his home ground or "backyard" as some put it. Yes i believe Rossi will be much better next season but he will have his work cut out. I admire the guy for his continued passion for the sport and a lot of people (usually the Rossi fans & stoner bashers)slate Casey for retiring at such a young stage of his career, but hey it is HIS choice and the sport will most definately be less entertaining to watch when he's gone. Good luck to ALL the riders throughout the weekend and peace everyone.
