MotoGP » Stoner: Pride, not style, key to Ducati success

He's not just having a go at Rossi, he is having a go at every single Ducati rider since 2007. He is an amazingly quick rider, and watching him slide that thing around Assen was fantastic to watch. But his personality, and especially the comments recently, are just bitter and twisted. He rode the Ducati well because he has no fear win or fall off - and for the first year it worked. Maybe with a daughter he's losing that lack of fear and that is what is costing him now, and is thhe reason he's quitting. Eitherway - taking his comments seriously means that he should shut up about the chatter problems on the Honda (who have done more in 1/2 season to help him than Ducati have done for him and Rossi combined sine 2008) and change his riding style to suit a bike with chatter - or doesn't he have the pride to do that?

F1 » Hembery: Pirelli will remain if 'conditions remain competitive'

When producing tyres to the specification of F1 in it's current guise you could not have competition. Pirelli have not forgotten how to make tyres, they were asked to make tyres with this spec. How can you compete unless it's 'Make the best tyres you can'? That said, if they were allowed to make any tyres they wanted and they still threw their toys out of the pram if they had to compete then it's a different story...

MotoGP » POLL: Who should get the second Factory Yamaha?

As a decade long Rossi fan I think the answer has to be Cal for me... I was not immpressed with him at WSS or WSB due to his attitude, but he seems to have matured a lot in the last two years and his results this season have been impressive (for the most part :p) I want Rossi to stay at Ducati and get the bike sorted (assuming Ducati will bring something more to the bike...)

MotoGP » Out of luck Rossi hit by tyre woe, Bridgestone launch probe

Have all you people screaming favorism seen the pictures of Rossi's (and Ben's) tyre! I though it had simply gone off as Casey's did - but no... In fact large chunchs are simply missing. Quite how he managed to stay on the thing at just 4 seconds a lap slower I don't know! Hat's off to Ben too, whilst not my favorite rider he did well to ride with a tyre that was missing chunks on the limit. I don't know about Bridgestone launching an investigation, the FIM should be looking into it!

MotoGP » Assen still a pain in the neck for Stoner

@abovethebar The comments that make me think Stoner is a moaner are from end of race interviews where the reporter asked such leading questions as 'Wow, what a resdult! How do you feel?' Which he then answers with 'This is bad, that went wrong, the bike didn't work because xyz, people cut me up on track' And as someone else has mentioned top three except for his rookie year and he complains about bad results. I'm all for perfectionism in the sport - but that goes beyond!

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi lashes out after Qatar nightmare

@its already 2012: Are you really that blinded by your hate for anyone who doesn't worship Casey? My name is Stace for one simple reason. It's my name (shocking I know, that someone may actually have that name). Casey Stoner is not important enough to me to change my name just so I can call him names in on-line forums... As for what I don't like... I think you may have it backwards. If I didn't have to watch him off of the track I would like him a whole lot more - he is great to watch on the bike and annoying off of it. @Marc: I could see it being a Rossi problem if there was one other person who could ride the modern Ducati. But it has chewed up and spat out too many high profile riders recently. Only one person could ride it - and then it was win or bin. (Oh and using my registered name now as I am at home!)
