F1 » Alonso wins F1 2012 European GP

It isn't looking good for Mclaren in terms of they pitted at the same time as Alonso who didn't seem to have a problem with tyres. At the same time, had they not messed the pitstop up then he would probably have finished third at worst. I felt sorry for Vettel, for me the question is whether this circuit just suits them or are they recovering their dominance.

@ sausage Rhetoric it may be but I might as well respond, it's an interesting game. This weekend: Red Bull Lotus Mclaren Ferrari Mercedes Williams Force India This season: Mclaren/Red Bull Lotus/Ferrari Mercedes/Williams/Sauber It's close, but an article in Autosport suggests that Mclare should have won four of the first seven Grands Prix.

I don't think the Hamilton/Maldonado was anyone's fault in particular. I think it's unfair to blame Maldonado because he was shoved off the track unfairly by Hamilton. All drivers just barge others onto the run off and I don't see why he should just give in, particularly as he had a much faster car at that point. I think the incident was just a result of the driving standards that seem to be commonplace in formula one, don't forget that it wasn't just a squeeze to discourage a move, Maldonado was completely alongside and had a right to be left room. On the other hand, it's unfair to single Lewis out. What I will say, that Hamilton was in that position was certainly not his fault, and the amount of criticism he gets on here is unfair if you look at the way he's destroying his teammate race after race.
