MotoGP » Marc Marquez on the pace in first MotoGP test

@ gorbachov One of the ways that people look forward to what might happen is by making predictions, it's part of the anticipation. Who cares that most of our predictions are wrong? For some of us it's part of the fun of being fans, for others it isn't and that's fine. We can hardly be worse than the likes of Steve Parrish when it comes to predictions anyway, who pretty much just predicts the result of the previous race.

MotoGP » Marc Marquez on the pace in first MotoGP test

Next year, we could be back to the days of four aliens fighting for victories. The 800cc era hit it's peak in 2009 before injuries and Ducati sent Rossi AWOL, as well as Pedrosa and Stoner at times. If four men fight for wins regularly then we can almost forget about Ducati's struggles. Maybe the Tech3's can get in on the action too at times, I fancy Marquez and possibly Rossi to come on very strong mid-season, with Marquez having a Pedrosa or Lorenzo like rookie season, plenty of speed but too raw. Early days, but I fancy Pedrosa for the title, injuries permitting, and as a Pedrosa fan , it's the first time since he came in that I've actually felt he looks as strong as any other rider in the series.

WRC » Sordo returns to Citroen fold

I would be surprised if Sordo didn't have the edge over Hirvonen on tarmac next year, so as long as he doesn't suffer bad luck he has a really good chance. He'd also best hope the VW doesn't turn out to be a rocket on tarmac, Latvala and Ogier are both better tarmac drivers than Hirvonen. Still, the future looks bright for Dani!

MotoGP » Dani Pedrosa ends 2012 action on top

@RG500 I understand your point with regards to Dani's wins this year had Stoner been racing, though I disagree that Stoner would have won that many given the way Dani was riding. As many people seem to forget, I feel it is necessary to point out that before Stoner hurt his ankle, Pedrosa was ahead in the standings anyway. Clearly Pedrosa hit his best level after Stoner got hurt, so it would have been very difficult for Stoner to end the year on top even without an injury.
