MotoGP » Colin Edwards - Q&A

The best interviews are from Colin. The guy has so much knowledge and absolutely no ego. He has no qualms accepting that he is a development rider. He says it like it is but at the same time does not hurt or offend anyone. Hope he gets a nice package under him next year and the CRT are a bit more competitive. Very interesting to hear how Suter-BMW treated that project.

MotoGP » Jorge Lorenzo: I’ll miss the US MotoGP

@Motojunky, Why even bother mate? When Vale crashed in '10, they said Jorge won just because Vale crashed.. When Casey crashed in '12, they said Jorge won just because Casey crashed.. And now the same for Marc or Vale.. They will reverse the above statements as well so that it sounds better for their favorite rider.. There is no rationalizing with these guys.. So don't bother,, enjoy the racing and the better posts on here! Best of luck! Izon

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Don’t use me as an example

@ondablade I agree completely, knowing a thing or two about collar bone breaks.. The fitness level of these guys is something else.. All we get to see is the end result.. Race day.. Behind the scenes, the amount of work they put in to be race fit, week in and week out is amazing! Also the medical facilities available to them. They are the best in the world by far.. Sport doctors can do some really amazing things.. And a collar bone break, if not broken in the wrong place is easy to fix.. The athlete can be up and running in no time.. Needless to say what Jorge did was amazing.. But its not impossible.. And he definitely did not risk the safety of others.. There are too many checks in place for that..

MotoGP » 2014 MotoGP rider contracts

@ chris odonnell I agree.. Any rider dreams to ride for a factory team. And God knows best Cal of all people deserves a good factory ride. But is the Ducati a good factory ride? I don't think so. It is just my humble opinion but a lot of evidence supports it. No one has been anywhere close to the front on it in the past 2.5 years.. Thinking long term, is it good for Cal? Suppose it doesn't work out at Ducati, where does he go from there? Andrea has made the call and it don't look good for him does it? Who do we talk of more this year? Andrea or Cal? A factory ride would be wonderful for Cal but not Ducati mate.. I would hate for him to not realise his potential. He has come too far to fade out now. That red devil is a career killer. We have seen it too many times in the past.

Cal should stay put.. Under no circumstances should he go to Ducati.. It's a lose lose situation for him at Ducati.. One more year at Tech 3 won't harm considering their is no better seat at the moment. Nicky can think of WSBK but again no way with Ducati.. With a good team Nicky can set WSBK on fire. Staying in MotoGP would mean one of the Yamaha powered privateers next year? Somehow I feel Ducati don't want him on that factory seat.

MotoGP » Scott Redding has 'one firm offer' for MotoGP

IMO it is Hayden's seat.. Now with the rookie rule abolished, he can go directly to a factory. I don't see Honda or Yamaha letting go of their 4 factory riders.. Even if Yamaha is looking at a change it is Espargaro.. Hope he doesn't go to one of the Yam powered CRT's or the Honda productions. This here is a guy who I believe will do better than Bradls or Bautistas.. If he can get the other Tech 3 with Cal, nothing like it!
