MotoGP » Casey Stoner seeking first Jerez victory

seems to me that Casey Stoner is saying that he and the bike did well in testing. that he has worked on the arm condition and that he feels confident but acknowledges that this has never been a good track for him personally. He is still concerned by the "chattering" on entry and exit to corners and this is not yet solved. did I miss anything? interesting opinions on finishing positions. not interesting personal attacks on some very good riders whose skill exceeds being just amazed over. Can we stay on topic, pls?

MotoGP » Lorenzo puts Yamaha ahead in Qatar

can we stay on topic? I went back and read it twice to make sure. this is definitely about Jorge and Cal getting Yamaha up front, albeit with soft tires. the other rider mentioned was Casey Stoner. the upshot is that it is close at the front and we are seeing a lot of Yamahas and Casey Stoner. what happened two years ago off track does not appear anywhere in the article.

MotoGP » MotoGP: Filling the grid

the most significant thing about making rules to control something is that they don't tend to work. the law of unintended consequences. drugs are illegal, really bad people get into drugs, thieving, murder, ... unintended consequences of making it illegal.. if it truly was prototypes opened then just maybe it would be very expensive or maybe it would let some crank try out something weird.. two strokes were NOT that expensive (although competitive ones may have been) but take off TC and kill someone (sooner and more often maybe) or make it all 4 strokes and only have japan and the brave take part or make it a limited fuel load .... and get expensive fuel saving concepts.. hmmm that can be passed on.. maybe that one is ok. in any case, LESS rules please, NOT more. racing was never really about factories that was an unintended consequence of some guys getting drunk and drag racing out there in the park

MotoGP » 'You never know' - Jorge Lorenzo after GP2 test

wow this rossi anti rossi, stoner anti stoner is somewhat off topic the topic here is some scum bag car jerk put motorcycling down. DID YOU MISS IT! if he had started 15 years ago etc blah, mindless ***** talk. I am offended that motorcycling is considered second rate by by a bunch of computer freaks and then put down by a bloody accountant. that is all F1 is about, money since Bernie has been involved (that and trophy brides). Motorcyclist retire to cars guys. Name me one F1 champ who went on to win a 500?motogp crown.. not happening.. Surtees of course retired to F1... (ok some license there bu this really makes me angry)

MotoGP » Stoner: It’ll be the usual suspects

ah the season starts before the racing... the point of the article was... oh yes... usual suspects.. and I believe Mr Stoner to be correct except, that I believe Ben Spies will be there. he is showing his skills. Jorge L is a metronome and will still be the main challenger. Dani P is a good rider but his fragility (bones wise only) leads one to consider that a full season may be too far but he will be there. we may well sees some others in the wet. Ducati need to fire Preziosi.. my mantra for several years now. and as a Ducatisti this is not disloyalty but rational behaviour. one last thing.. too bad Ducati dropped the carbon fibre.. they were probably on to something, but you need a top test pilot.. an Eric Winkle.. they had one but did not listen.
