MotoGP » Rossi: Not bad for a first taste...

@good for Ducati "Ducati bikes are bought by elitist snobs who only worry about how their peers lust after the brand" now that is quite a statement. I own two Ducatis at the moment, my first was in 1978. I have my own gear made, logo "Ducati of Corse". A set of Ts and Track Jackets that say "My other bike is a DUCATI (too!)" oh dear, you are right, I don't give a toss about you and your pathetic little life... Go Dukes...

MotoGP » Valencia MotoGP - Race results

@Billace and @MM thank you both. an interesting topic. debated with composure and geniality. I read of the extra fuel over the 3L and that espeleta (thats a lapel on a small coat right?) is also talking up weight assistance. More still, he is talking about dropping financial support for Factory Satellite teams and giving it all to CRT. I thought CRT would be a joke. I am not so sure now... but i simply cannot imagine it being good for R&D as you make and or invent something that aides power / efficiency and bang someone buys it from you and copies....

MotoGP » Marco Simoncelli dies from Sepang MotoGP injuries

A terrible, terrible tragedy. I really did like watching you Super Sic, a great competitor, funny guy. my condolences to Sic's family and close friends. To Colin E and Vale, my deepest regrets and nothing you could do.. I could see in Vale's position on the bike he must have felt ill riding back to the pits. Colin on the side of the track looked in shock at the horror. Please forgive the crowd, they had no idea of what was happening.

MotoGP » '800cc king' Stoner: I'll enjoy 1000cc more

@McLarenP Tks for clarification. I had not intended to belittle anyone with my tires not tyres (i got it Mick, lauhged, gr8 pub jibe) post! Nothing wrong with VR wanting to get the tires, getting an advantage is what racing is about. I am ok with rules. But not when they make the racing go bad. There are always unintended consequences when you mess around and limit human endeavour. Fewer rules would be better and clearly i would like to scrap the control tire, open up to more tire coys. Or tyre companies even!

MotoGP » '800cc king' Stoner: I'll enjoy 1000cc more

@Scott and if you check you will see on balance, Rossi's results were WORSE after he go the Bridgestones. yes had one win. and likely would have had more had he stayed on the Michellins. rest of VR results were not great, one podium and mid pack and I believe 2 DNF. But that is NOT the point. the point is, Ducati needed the rear bias developed tires and NOW they cannot get them. Not since 2007. oh and Ducati lost dominance in 2008 and went backwards in 09,10,11. with free tires Ducati could get someone to go with them, Carbon L-four and weird cams... different and that is what I miss from MotoGP. Maybe Pirelli...who knows

@Scott not tosh at all. i based my post on the facts. And I think the request for Rossi to have Bridgestones was exactly what you get when real competition exists. interesting as THAT was my point. If you remember JB said that they needed to alter the Yam to suit the tires, get the weight rearward. Ducati was pretty much the ONLY important client for Bridgestone and the tires were made to suit the Ducati. and of course they seemed better in the wet. But all the wet weather riders of note were on Bridgestones, inconvenient truth that one. @sasha what has fair to do with anything? it was in the rules. Michellin had an advantage. So now we have the situation where the tire rules are UNFAIR to Ducati, but it is in the rules.. restrictive rules that prevent competition. Were the Michellins much worse than the Bridgestones? Second in the WC was Michellin, third was Michellin/Brigestone. Consider the facts then get back to me.

MotoGP » Honda to test RC213V on Monday

@some1 hang on a minute... did you write that site? that is it right, that is how you know so much about the internal goings on of Repsol and Honda! You work for them and you built the site! does explain all the grammar and coherence level of all your other posts. I am a believer @some1 what else can you tell us? is Dani really 2 metres tall and Puig does it with mirrors?
