MotoGP » Doohan: Stoner could beat my records - and Rossi's

many on this and other sites keep talking about having riders on the same machinery et al. this is a VERY bad idea. Same make riding does 'generally' show rider skill and set up capabilities but does nothing for excitement. We have had a lot of one make series over time, and the only thing they really have in common is extinction. No one ever went to a meeting to see the RD400 Cup Race! I am VERY happy about many marque racing. What is missing from motogp is many tire brands. the more restrictive that it is made the worse it will become. The Ducati went backwards from the day we started the one tire brand rule. The tires that suit the Japanese bikes do not suit the Ducati. The early Bridgestones build just for Ducati did, it was competitive. It is NOT Rossi so dont start OK, not interested. All being on the same does not prove you are better, just better on THAT combination of bike, tire and team skill. The drama of different bikes, different tires and different skill sets o

MotoGP » Bump and shake sends 'disappointed' Stoner off

@daveL The calipers or disk 'float' as in can move. Earlier bikes it was calipers, later bikes disks mounted so a small amt of sideways movement occurs, not rotational. I assume it is the same with carbon setup. Some early gap bikes I had would tank slap when going fast and hitting bumps, xs1100 yam did it, rgv did it, xs1 was chronic, suz gt750 did it.. Never as yet happened on my ducats but it could (maybe I am older and slower) So probably a dual case of striking pad and rotor and general shaking force.. If you just push/pull on your disk and calipers you will then discover diminished lever pressure. It may come all the way to the bar.

@ Westminister sometimes you say funny things and I laugh, sometimes I agree, today, I cannot see how you make this statemetn. I do have the video. Not a pirate btw, clear, not fuzzy. I checked, as you asked. video shows from behind Stoner hit the bump. big wallop and the tank slapper starts then. Next you see from the front and he is in the slapper full on from the moment they have the bike at the front. Stoner has the brake lever covered, once it calms a pull, then a second big grab hand full because it was not stopping near fast enough. seems what is said in parc ferme is pretty close, and what you said is not. video does not lie.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I didn't know it was Rossi

you guys need a serious lie down I asked you to make a valid argument no emotion or stay quiet. You have not. p0p, Ket, .. etc.. that pirate video shows nothing.. now Motogp video shows some interesting things. first, JL is way in front of VL, maybe as much as two bikes lengths, because VL is behind Spies who is behind JL. the video does not lie. And it was like that from the previous corner some significant distance. JL would need eyes in the back of his head to know Rossi was there, and I am certain from the video he did NOT turn and look. Why dont you BUY a video pass from motogp, then do a proper examination. P0p, Ke, .. etc.. never was VL in front of JL. Video does not lie. You guys have let your emotion take over. Make an argument that you can verify or go away. as it looks like you are telling pork pies. I think Valentino would be ashamed of you. I really thought VR based on the last QP and Warmup had found some real race pace. But we have to wait till PI where

@ JFK that would be the funniest post, but I wish you had not put Rossi fans in there. it could equally apply to both sets of fans. but, otherwise yours should be the recommended post. I too have looked and looked at the replay, over and over. Racing incident. Stop trying to assign blame. Move on...and if you want to assign blame, get back to the video, replay and analyse then give us reasons NOT emotion about who is to blame.. dont make stuff up as we can verify on the video ourselves... if you have a mind to have a serious discussion, go for it, else Racing Incident.

MotoGP » Damian Cudlin gets Pramac MotoGP ride for Motegi

Crash.net im-moderators you are pathetic you get caught out, big time and instead of acting professionally and with integrity you erase the revealing complaints I get it. Crash is run on News of the World ethics. you really should be apologising to the entire site publicly. and you should now apologise to Cudlin as you seem to beon the side of those who deinigrate his name. very disappointed.
