F1 » Horner hails ‘fantastic’ Ricciardo despite more bad luck

Such a silly comment - Vettel retired in Melbourne, remember? I'm an Aussie so I support Daniel but seriously it's just getting ridiculous to suggest things like that. Back to the article - great praise from Horner, which doesn't come easily. I thought Daniel had a great race but in the end it was out of his hands. Seb seemed to have a yard or two of pace more all weekend so hopefully Daniel and the team can turn that around next time.

F1 » Renault admits to power unit errors

Wow that's pretty amazing. I thought in this day and age of computer generated models and simulations that having failures of this magnitude were most certainly picked up at the prototype stage or before. In fact, I recall reading an article about engine development for MotoGP a while ago which went something along the lines that the computer modelling software is so accurate that if there were issues with the prototype engine it was due to poor construction of the engine and that they would rebuild it until it matched the computer models. Surprising these engines made it to the track at all really.

F1 » Webber holds off Hamilton to keep podium place

Why didn't MW do last weekend what SV did this weekend - head straight into the path of the driver in second position into the first corner, completely blocking him? I'm a Webber fan, but Vettel did exactly what all race car drivers would do and cut straight across to block Webber. Yet last weekend Mark had a good start but just allowed Vettel to get to the corner first? Doesn't make sense....

MotoGP » Stoner: Ankle worse but it won't affect me

It's just amazing how stupid some people are. Still, after achieve NOTHING on THE SAME BIKE Stoner won a world title on, the "GOAT" still garners such feverish support. Rossy won titles on the best machinery and now complains it's "boring" because he's mid pack race after race. Rossy turns up at Ducati, nothing. Honda wins a world title the same day Stoner turns up despite having Pedrosa there for 4 years. Hmm... Oh yeah, it's "the rider" right?? PS Cya at the island.

F1 » Ricciardo: Webber kept me honest.....

I'm a Ricciardo fan (WA boy!) but he has been lucky to get points last couple of races thanks to pile-ups in front of him. I think perhaps the biggest plus is he has out-qualified his team mate more often than not. Who knows what will happen though with TR but I think both drivers will be back next year. TR have always indicated they would give the guys 2 years (barring disaster) so...

MotoGP » Stoner: It's going to be very difficult

Jeez some comments on this site are clearly from 'people' who are simply keyboard warriors with no knowledge of Motogp, much less anything else. FACT: Stoner owned Pedrosa from day one (2011, anyone?) and currently has 4 wins (despite the DNF) to 2 so let's end that debate right there. FACT: Rossi has won more titles but seriously are we counting go-kart championship's for F1 drivers as world championships these days too? FACT: Rossi has done NOTHING without the best equipment - be it tyres or bikes - but was beaten last weekend by a guy with a broken ankle....

MotoGP » Stoner ups the ante on struggling Rossi

Geez it's funny how the rossi fanboys point to pedrosa out qualifying Stoner in one race in order to deflect the heat from their fallen idol. REMINDER: Stoner won the championship in his first year with Honda - pedrosa hasn't done that in SIX YEARS of trying. I'm sure Stoner is reallllly worried about pedrosa... Stoner beat Hayden at Ducati and if Hayden can get sixth....
