MotoGP » POLL: Should Marc Marquez be penalised?

Better also penalise Rossi, Bautista, Crutchlow, Bradl and I am sure a few others who also touched each other during the race! In fact give them all a one race ban so we can watch Laverty ride around on his own......that would be really exciting!! Nobody would have known Marc touched Dani if Honda hadn't publicly said it, so if Marc now gets some penalty, that also affects Honda. Great own goal that would be!

MotoGP » Nakamoto: 2014 RCV could make race debut in September

Thanks for the maths lesson TedG. Don't forget that it is only an advantage during an up-shift, and not a down-shift, so that would only be 20 gear changes per lap that are relevant. Going back to the point I was making, is that it is not the huge advantage some might think. If it were then Honda would have disappeared away into the distance since Motegi 2011.

@Shakennstrirred. Totally agreed. I think maybe my point was that Honda already have it, and have had it since Sepang 2011. So it is more Yamaha playing catch-up, and not gaining an advantage as RaceCrafter indicated. IMHO, both teams are level just now, and just swing + - depending on the circuit. This makes it so much more rider influenced than anything, which is how we all love it!
