MotoGP » Dovizioso savours ‘special’ Ducati pole

Codger: I don't think anyone begrudges Dovi his pole, do they ? I don't think anyone is whining are they ? I think it's more the fact that he wouldn't be on pole without the 'super soft'. Unfortunately for us fans it is more than that, he wouldn't be on pole if the top 4 had use of the same tyre. Dovi still deserves massive praise for getting the Ducati round the track so fast. The Stoner comparison is a bit wide of the mark too. Casey's 07 bike was the best all round bike in the grid.....Dovi's isn't.
That would be why ducati was first and second in the championship that year :) There are all sorts of rules in motogp to level the playing field so please leave out the ifs.....

MotoGP » MotoGP Japan - Full Qualifying Results

Evolution: Finger is getting Better and Better. Take that you haters Tomorrow He just need to imporve little setup in and then We'll see 46 on the top of the podium. Dovi well done extraa soft help him so much otherwise he'll 0.5 sec down to Vr Lap.
Yeah but let's not forget Dovi was on the Ducati....... Think no 46 would rather be on the yamaha than the ducati with soft tyres - it is what it is.

MotoGP » Is Jack Miller ready for MotoGP?

shamarone: Re: "Think it through, he has nothing to lose" Whoa, somebody's just revealed they're baby young to grandprix and were M.I.A. 23rd October 2011.
you are so provocative but I understand life is boring without a little conflict :) I have been watching since they were first televised, I also understand about the risks of racing, I raced in the dirt in the dirt and beach races and hill climbs in the and my mates on the road in the 70's then road racing in the early 80's in 250 production and formula European when police radar started to get too common. I understand the connection between going fast and dying on bikes and plenty of my friends went before there time. I could go faster enough to win races back then but when you are no longer willing to risk your life it's time to stop. If you want to find out if you are quick, race in a one make production event. 59 now but still ride a gsxr1000 on the street and a crf100 in the dirt with the kids when time allows. I Don't need to see a high profile racer in another country get killed to understand the risks.
