MotoGP » Rossi and Lorenzo: The MotoGP stats so far

Interesting that they left rossi's ducati years out of the equation, probably wouldn't have left it out if he had gone as well on ducati as he did on Yamaha? It also begs the question that if you wanted to compare Rossi and his nemesis (won't mention his name!) you could only choose years they were both on factory non ducati machinery -oops never happened maybe then you could average out the nemesis results on the ducati only and compare it to the average results of Rossi on the Ducati - may not be all that different - in terms of points anyway but big difference in terms of wins/podiums. Just goes to show you can prove any point of view with statistics.

MotoGP » MotoGP Rider of the Year vote: Full Results

@Codger thousands voting with multiple names kept him out? (Rossi) Really?, rider of the year means nothing, do you really think anyone could be bothered? Like Lorenzo he was mr consistency but unlike Lorenzo he was performing way below past performances, he promised so much and delivered so little. Pedrosa had one of his better years (about time) and performed above expectation. Like Rossi Stoner also performed below expectation. Rossi couldn't get comfortable with the bike and Stoner couldn't work with this years tyres but no one wants to listen to excuses. Hence their results! Based on performance (race wins) it was the correct result.
