MotoGP » Repsol slams Rossi for ‘unacceptable conduct’

Rossi's version of reality is hilarious, does he seriously think that it's reasonable to ask all the other riders to just let him past so he could "decide the championship with Lorenzo"? His fans may not have been smart enough to understand the implications of this request but Lorenzo did, Rossi already had enough of a points buffer to win the championship 3 races out from the end without beating Lorenzo in any of the 3 remaining races. The ONLY challenge he had to face was the other riders not Lorenzo. Even race direction bought into it and thought MM was provoking him by not letting him past........

MotoGP » Repsol slams Rossi for ‘unacceptable conduct’

Tono: who can present a 100% guarantee that MM didn't help JL? do you know exactly what is in his mind?
And there lies the problem - not that MM may have helped JL but that Rossi has fooled people into thinking that it makes a difference. The reality is its no ones business but MM's why he repasses or doesn't repass Rossi - so long as he does it safely within the rules. This smokescreen has been created by Rossi to confuse the weak minded.

Their are two problems here 1. Rossi didn't knock MM off trying to pass him - he did it trying to push him off the track, his fans don't really get the difference. 2. Rossi set the stage for this possibility at the press conference - it wouldn't have occurred to anyone that MM repassing Rossi was in any way a problem if it wasn't for Rossi's bit of manipulative theatre at the press conference.

MotoGP » Repsol slams Rossi for ‘unacceptable conduct’

MotoGP race director has made the usual conservative judgement and still people complain. If Rossi hadn't been punished for what he admitted was purposely trying to push MM off the track then MM would have felt justified to do the same back to Rossi at the next race. We can not have close racing if Rossi's tactics are allowed, as it was plenty of riders would not have trusted Rossi enough to let themselves get caught out like MM was but MM simply hasn't been around long enough. He has certainly learnt plenty this year about how things are done!

MotoGP » Marquez: Sepang in past, focus on Valencia

bulletre: Oh Good Race ! Like in Sepang ? Fixing race ? Are you involved in race fixing along with your sponsor Repsol ? What is the role of your partner JL in this ? We would like to know the deal you guys had in making JL backdoor champion. Oh, btw, Rossi didn't kick you, you fell like you do normally in every other race. You tried Rossi to crash so many times. Please view the heli shot in youtube, its crystal clear that you crashed and Rossi didn't kick Also check the online petition in favour of Rossi, increasing @5k per hour and close to 500k now.
Move on and get with the program - Rossi has already owned up to pushing him wide and been given a penalty.

The championship is something that ticks along and happens in the background - it's not everything - some riders put a huge emphasis on it others just take things one race at a time and try and enjoy the ride. Rossi puts a huge emphasis on it and plots and schemes all year to try and make it happen. This is what is causing his unhappiness and somewhat strange behaviour. Good on MM for moving on!

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made me lose the championship

The on track tussles are what makes MotoGP interesting for spectators, if Rossi wants the title he has to beat not only Lorenzo but the other riders for positions. Please no double standards - I remember Stoners last year in MotoGP - he was a title contender Rossi was not and Rossi crashed doing an ambitious wet overtake on Stoner and knocked Stoner off the bike putting a dent in Stoners title hopes. By Rossi's current thinking this would have been unforgivable and yet he is making a huge noise about MM even racing him cleanly with no collision. Rossi has a short memory and double standards.
