MotoGP » Dovi: Now the podium is not enough

Painless: Makes you wonder doesn't it. What would Rossi or Marquez do on the GP15? Can Dovi take that extra step? In 2011 he had a new team mate in his Honda Repsol Team. That team mate score 10 wins and Dovi none. I hope Dovi can find that bit extra but past performance is a bit worrying.
Well I do wonder how MM would go on the Ducati but already know how Rossi would go ........

MotoGP » Dovi: Now the podium is not enough

Stubb: Think they have a bit of wrong agenda because a win will not be a real win unless on equal terms. If they win at Mugello then the if´s will arise. Free development, free testing, free preparation for a specific track. If Yamaha and Honda would have the same ops there is no way Ducati would stand a chance of winning. And this would haunt Ducati forever and ever. Think the should pull the gentlemens agreement and skip the extras and compete on equal terms, then they would be true winners instead of whiners.
Rubbish! some of the other teams have better riders so it's not a level playing field anyway, also some teams use less fair tactics on the track. A win is a win!

MotoGP » Dovi: Now the podium is not enough

bobba:
CC33: if a Ducati rider wins a race or they win a championship i personally think a huge Asterisk should be put next to rider and factory in the record book.Stoner achieved all his wins and w,c by playing by the rules laid out for all,no help from Dorna needed for C.S like Dovi does.Dovi and Stoner should never ever be compared ones a winner and the other is a neverbeen.
Stoner won the championship on a trellis frame, then got progressively worse, crashing a lot. enough where it soured him I believe. He's took his ball and went home, get over it. oh and shoulda coulda woulda if but. Funny you calling someone a never been. Ever competed in MotoGP? HAH!
This doesn't make a lot of sense - Stoner was awesome and won a championship after his Ducati stint but Dovi is doing really well too!

MotoGP » MotoGP Le Mans - Free Practice (2) Results

Don't like to hear people talking in terms of "x" rider has been a disappointment, there are only so many spots on the podium, the exceptional riders usually on the best bikes with the best teams make it onto the podium but there are no bad riders in MotoGP - think about it - before you criticise others which its so easy to do on this forum - where have you placed in life? Awesome 2nd practice by Smith!
