WSBK » Melandri beats Guintoli to controversial win

the team should worry about the manufacturers championship not riders championship, otherwise the manufacturers trophy is pointless. In this instance Aprilia would have a 1+2 in two races so would be the same for the manufacturers title. Influencing the riders title defeats the purpose of having riders in the first place, might as well put everyone's name in a hat at the beginning of the season and pull names out for the riders title, save money, save racing and save pay cheques... equates to the same thing!

F1 » F1 2013 driver salaries published – but who earns most?

If the teams are stupid enough to pay these salaries, then the drivers are going to take it. If the teams said o.k. I'll only pay 200k what could the drivers do? There would still be a lot of talented drivers willing to race F1 for that salary. even if one or two teams offered the millions there would only be two seats.... Anyway, if the drivers are paid that much, think of the salaries of the team managers.....

MotoGP » Official: Pit stops for Australian MotoGP!

and if it is a wet race?? or it rains at lap 10?? as per some other comments they should have done some testing, they could have got Casey to do his testing in PI instead of Japan... it would also have likely pushed the Honda to the limit as Casey was the PI demon.. then we would have not only seen the real status of the prod Honda, but also they would have had the tire testing...

MotoGP » Lorenzo: 'Marquez should have been rewarded'

So, the clash with Dani was unfortunate in terms of the sensor being damaged, the biggest issue for me is that Marc has had several 'Close' incidents of out breaking himself and almost causing accidents, when Bautista missed a braking point and collected a rider all hell broke loose, but for Marquez so far he has been lucky... anyway this particular incident was unlucky, but I don't think he stood the bike up enough seeing as he admitted he was going to hit Dani, but kept it cranked over.... if he had stood the bike up, all woud have been good. Still stupid design by Honda though :)

MotoGP » Suzuki’s new MotoGP machine - PICTURES

Pointless even worrying about it, by the time 2015 rolls around they may decide against it.... Disappointing :( let's just hope Aprilia decide a last minute jump in, though I very much doubt it. The only thing to make it interesting would be to have Yamaha and Honda produce a pool of engines which everyone picks from randomly including the factories, then th CRT boys an put their own frame and spec ECU, that would liven it up... But factories too chicken!

MotoGP » Lorenzo states penalty case, Marquez 'fans like it'

"There were a good few times MM went into corners so fast he nearly rear ended Lorenzo. I counted 4 watching the race live. His overtakes were similar: fast, deep, wide. Only hitting Lorenzo stopped him going wide again. " I agree with Bri t, I was more concerned with the near misses, he was very lucky not to take Lorenzo out, doing this once, ok a mistake but as mentioned it happened several times, which shows he doesn't learn. The last corner move, was o.k., a little fast and deep, but o.k. But fr the others he should get penalised.
