F1 » Raikkonen: Ferrari could be even better

I'm looking forward to some good showing from Ferrari this weekend. Skeptical they'll be racing with the Mercs, but hopefully some good dicing with Williams. It was great to see the different strategy Kimi had in Melbourne and the chance to push the car instead of conserving like the rest. Unfortunate for the DNF, I hope he drives the tyres off in this race too... except figuratively.

F1 » Hamilton ‘never intended to disrespect’ in podium celebration

Yeah look, I'm not the biggest Hamilton fan like many, but this isn't exactly a new issue and nor do I think he is at fault here. This sport has been objectifying women with the use of umbrella girls since its inception. If they really were concerned about the disrespect of women, they wouldn't have them up there in the first place. It doesn't send a great message to all the aspiring females out there. It's F1's version of 'sex sells'.

F1 » Raikkonen: Ferrari not too far from Mercedes

titfortat: I just don't get why he cannot overtake, he is always so timid and that first corner was his, yet he just gave Vettel it and then got hit because of it.... any other driver would have made it stick.
While Kimi was in front, he was on the outside line. If he cut in on Vettel, who was always going to come in later on the brakes, he would of almost certainly taken himself, Vettel, and a whole lot of other cars out. Melbourne is notorious for ending races through turn 1, Kimi is a much wiser old dog than that. It just so happens the young Carlo Sainz is still learning a thing and rear ended Kimi due to Kimi having to back off to give Seb that room (racing incident).

F1 » Wolff to Horner: Get your head down…

Shots fired. I guess this was the obvious response we were expecting from Toto. It's a bit sour of Red Bull calling fowl about a team being overly dominant, but when they have their hands tied by an engine provider where can they go? It'd be great to get another engine manufacturer in the series. VW in the form of Audi or Porsche... come join the party. Heck, join under Bugatti, or even Bentley that'd be awesome.
