F1 » Raikkonen: Ferrari not too far from Mercedes

titfortat: I just don't get why he cannot overtake, he is always so timid and that first corner was his, yet he just gave Vettel it and then got hit because of it.... any other driver would have made it stick.
While Kimi was in front, he was on the outside line. If he cut in on Vettel, who was always going to come in later on the brakes, he would of almost certainly taken himself, Vettel, and a whole lot of other cars out. Melbourne is notorious for ending races through turn 1, Kimi is a much wiser old dog than that. It just so happens the young Carlo Sainz is still learning a thing and rear ended Kimi due to Kimi having to back off to give Seb that room (racing incident).

MotoGP » Pedrosa looking to improve early race pace

What ever happened to Dani's lightning fast starts where you'd bet he'd be first into turn 1? All year he's struggled with his starts and made himself look like a fish out of water. I really hope there is a solution to the bikes performance at the start of the races, whether it be a setup issue or Dani's mentality. He needs to find some fire again. Good luck!

F1 » Ricciardo wins Hungarian thriller

Firefly: Good win by Ricciardo but he got extremely lucky with the first SC. That won him the race, good strategy and driving to capitalize on it. This shows to me it's pretty obvious the tire rules are bullshit. Alonso and Rosberg didn't fit the medium tire during the race. Let them race any compound they want at any point in the race.
It was declared a wet race from the beginning, dude. Means you don't need to fit both tires. Hate to think you watched that entire race trying to figure that out...

MotoGP » Pedrosa happy with podium feat at 'difficult' track

Good work Dani. It was important to just feel his way through this one and 3rd is a good finish considering the starting position & he really hasn't shined at this circuit previously. Consistency is going to be the name of the game here. Although, he's just going to need to get a bit more hungry, if he's to come out on top of his team mate, or some of the Yamaha's.
