MotoGP » Shock second for Pedrosa, 'Lorenzo was cleverer'

Indeed Pedrosa had the wrong strategy, he could have done what Marquez did to Iannone on that last lap if he had gone past Stoner when Lorenzo did. Qatar has never really seemed to be one of Pedrosa's strong tracks despite getting commendable results, so to see him do so well here is promising. Also, I am not a big Stoner fan, but I do feel sympathy for him because I doubt he would back off and not challenge for the win if he really did not have some sort of issue- It happened to Dani last year at the same event, albeit a different type of injury. Good race!

F1 » Whitmarsh: It’s tight at the top

... anyway, It's true, I think the cars are on a very level playing field. Red bull has lost its advantage, and consistency and reliability will play a big part of this season. I think the Mclarens are looking good and that red bull are going to have to push hard to be where they were last year, but that's not to say they certainly don't have the talent to do it. I am looking forward to see how far up the grid Force India can get cause they look fast too. This is a big year for Vettel to prove his skill and having the Iceman back... This year is going to be good!

F1 » Kimi Raikkonen, Lotus - Q&A

Q: How's your motivation? Kimi Raikkonen: There's always talk about my motivation, written by people who don't know me and couldn't have an idea on how strong my motivation is. If I didn't feel I had the motivation, I would stop. My feeling is that I probably drove some of my best races in my last season in Formula 1 and I was very happy with my performance. I've never had any issues with motivation. Thank you for clearing this up Kimi- "written by people who don't know me"

MotoGP » Pedrosa wins dramatic Japanese MotoGP

Great result for Dani after the accident here last year- I thought it was cheeky of him to claim the victory for Honda and in the press conference mention it was the first win at Japan for such a long time! Unlucky for Stoner with the brakes not happening- did well to get back to 3rd and was good to see him accept the occurrence with maturity in the press conference
